Milestone view - Customization & flexibility

For some reason I don't seem to be able to vote on this, perhaps because it is "not planned" which kind of stinks. Milestones are pretty powerful tools for reporting on how things are progressing, except it is severely limited by this locked down view structure.

Thank for the submitting the idea and up voting for it. Unfortunately we won't be working in this area in the near future so I am going to mark this as Not Planned. Please continue sharing your use cases since we might revisit this decision in the future.

Michele, the first option, the ability to show/hide the progress status and the condition is already available through the milestone view settings (upper right corner)

I would love to be able to create better milestone reports. I want to be able to show which ones are complete (color code options) Can we show them as complete, if they are complete if they are color coded for being late. Just a lot of things. The milestone report is so important to our managers and they are using excel spreadsheets to get what they need. Not idea.

We are having a problem with our milestones in that we want to be able to see a project report with EITHER a summarized view of just the HIGH LEVEL milestones as well as a GRANULAR view of the milestones of the children that ladder up to the summarized view.

At this point, we are stuck showing everything which is TMI for our executive team, but removing the ability to show the granular milestones makes managing the work for the regular team tricky.

This request would be SUPER helpful for us.

We completely agree with this idea! We like the format and colour scheme of the milestone view but we would really like to add additional fields/columns to milestones e.g. project status, task status, calculated custom fields.

I would definitely like to see Workfront allow for flexibility in what is presented in the Milestone view. It is valuable but very limiting in how the data is presented. We simply want to add the project 'status' to the view which seems like it would naturally already be included but I have no way to provide that information.
