Option to Color Code Cards on a Board

We would like to have the option to color code cards on a Board, similar to how we can apply conditional formatting to tasks in the List view of a project. Having this option would allow our users to quickly see task statuses, categories, etc. without having to read the card text. It could work similarly to how conditional formatting is applied in the List view, by having the option to apply a specific "view" to the board overall.
