Option to Control Document Approvals in Layouts

Description - There should be an option to remove/hide document approvals in layouts 

Why is this feature important to you - This would allow admins to control the usage of document approvals and it would eliminate the need to search for approvals in multiple places (document/proof) 

How would you like the feature to work - In setup> interface>layout templates the 'Customize what users see' dropdown would have a drop down for documents 

Current Behaviour - Documents do not appear as an option
