Redirect to inbound link after login

Description - Right now it goes to the homepage after login regardless of what I click or what I'm doing.

 

Why is this feature important to you - It is frustrating to the user who expects this to be the common/basic behavior.

 

How would you like the feature to work - When I click a link in an email and have to go through login, it should remember where I was headed and take me there instead of the homepage.

 

Current Behavior - After login user is directed to the page determined by their layout. We use SSO.

    Nevermind. I am not able to replicate the behavior that was reported to me. Logged in or not I am taken to the correct link once authenticated.

    I would bring this subject up with those who manage your SSO because there could be a variety of reasons existing within your environment which could potentially produce this result.  I'm not 100% certain that this is within Workfront's control since you admitted to using a SSO internal authentication mechanism, perhaps the app environment could be better configured to honor URL requests.

    What happens when the user is already authenticated through the SSO?  Does it happen to work?  If that is the case it's a difficult argument to be made to suggest that Workfront is the culprit.
