Report Filters - Task Name

How come when I choose to filter by Task Name the report automatically defaults to Task ID? Why isn't the "Name" feature accessible in the filter section? I think it's like that for all "name" filters. Then I'm forced to switch to text mode and manually code the report to filter by name. Please fix this.
