Question

Reporting on busiest days of the week

Hello,

I need to write a report that will graph (by % or volume) the busiest days of the week.

We maintain a calendar that tracks issues that are tied to specific days of the week. We would like to write a report which will compile all the Monday entries for the year, all the Tuesday entries, etc...; ideally, a bar chart or list with 7 values. Is this possible?

Hi Bill - Add to the custom form of your issues a field that uses DAYOFWEEK formula. Then you can use a pie chart to get the percentage of the average for the year. The Days are represented by numbers so 1 is Sunday, 2 is Monday, 3, is Wednesday, etc.
