Sandbox 01 Refresh timing

Hello - 

Having a complete brain freeze on how the scheduled refresh timing works and can't find an answer when searching. If I schedule a refresh for Thursday - does that mean it will be completed on Thursday or will it occur on Thursday night and be refreshed for Friday?
