Undo Button for All Project Functions

Similar to the recycle bin idea but more of a real time snap back to your last action. I know there is some functionality for this but our PM's accidentally delete tasks accidentally because they are moving so fast and it would be great if there was a button similar to other products out there so you can undo / redo your last several actions within a project. Having to go to a recycle bin to restore work is a multi step process that would cause frustration in times of fire drills.

    Hi all! Sorry if I just missed this on the webinar, but I don't remember hearing anything this time about the "Undo" button. Is this still planned to come out soon? I remember hearing it on past webinars. My teams are asking for this constantly still, a few even asked me today. I would love to give them an update. Thank you!

    Thank you for your interest in this functionality. I am the product manager responsible for the project management area of Workfront. I am happy to announce that we are currently in active development for undo functionality on the task list! The functionality is planned to be available with 2018.3 release. Look for more updates during beta releases.

    Thanks for mentioning that Kelly. I see Jennifer Moore from Workfront gave an official comment just about a year ago to the day.

    I hope so too! My teams definitely do not like the gantt charts within the system, so they need it to be more rooted in the task list, so I am hoping you're right and the gantt was just the start. Having a draft mode and an undo would be great for task lists!

    I'd like someone official from Workfront to chime in, but from what I understand, the changes, etc. that have been deployed and are underway for the Gantt (save, undo, etc) are precursors to what's to come. Hoping that is still the case...
