What Task Constraint to Use

What task constraint should I use if I want a date to mimic the date of another task? For example - setting up an email deployment date, they want it to go out the same day as the event - one hour. I want the task to lock into the same date as the event. Thank You! Deb

we have 8 hour days. So I would personally try <Number>ff-0.1d but that's just me.

Hello!

YES, agreed! However, Hourly is not an option for lags. So I'm in a bit of a pickle on this particular task. How do I handle an hour lag if I can't indicate with an hour?

Lags can be the following:

  • Days

  • Calendar Days

  • Percent

  • Day of the Week

  • Day of the Week (Non-Zero)

This could be as simple for us as Must Finish On in the date of the event and the email date. That's probably the easiest way to do this. But was hoping to do it with predecessors. If it's not possible, it is what it is.
