Workfront Project Templates | Weekday Constraints

I am looking to create project templates where certain tasks have restrictions on when they can be completed.

For example,

  • I can only book studio recording time on Tuesdays;  or
  • Cross functional teams can only submit deliverables on Wednesday afternoons; or
  • My client only works Monday-Wednesady. Any client dependent tasks need to programmed to be due on in office days

Have you experimented with the Schedule setting?  I don't have any specific advise to offer other than it's there, sorry!

@brittanyho7 Just checking in — were you able to resolve your issue? We’d love to hear how things worked out. If the suggestions above helped, marking a response as correct can guide others with similar questions. And if you found another solution, feel free to share it — your insights could really benefit the community. Thanks again for being part of the conversation!

I would think the only way to handle this would be if those tasks are able to have a predecessor. Then, you could use lag (see https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront/using/manage-work/tasks/use-task-predecessors/lag-types "day of week")

Not sure what you can do for the last bullet point, but maybe someone else can suggest an alternative there.
