Hello, We are trying to get iPhone model and generation details for example 'Apple iPhone Pro Max 15.' Reports now show above 97% of devices bucketed as 'Apple iPhone' and the rest do have the 'Apple iPhone Pro Max 15' level of detail but 0.2% per row listing a device. Is this something which will only work if 'Use device to lookup for the following information' is checked and user agent disabled? any extra steps on mapping? Also looks like Adobe relies on DeviceAtlas, is this something that is already included in Adobe Analytics or a subscription needs to be bought separately?   Thanks, R

We have implemented Adobe Analytics in my organization and we are currently in the process of rolling it out across the business and using it as our source of record for all things Analytics. One issue that has been raised though is that our overall traffic in Adobe Analytics is much higher than what we see in Google Analytics. We have found that the discrepancy is being driven mainly from our mobile application traffic, and solely within the Android operating system. While I understand that the collection methods differ slightly and there will always be a difference amongst platforms, I am trying to understand why that difference is SO large for the Android platform I took a look at a day's worth of data for Monday 7/31/23. For iOS mobile app traffic only -- I see users (unique visitors in adobe) and sessions (visits in adobe) are well within our tolerable delta with Adobe +3% and +5% on unique visitors & visits respectively:DatePlatform OS Unique Visitors (Users)&n

Hello Experts, We recommended to client that "AMCV", "Demdex" & "EVEREST" should be categorized as "Analytics/Performance cookies". However client kept arguing with us, that Onetrust categorized the same cookies under "Advertising"/"Targeting cookies"  We see that issue with behavior of cookies getting dropped when user blocks or unblocks consent for "Advertising" cookies In Other words, we need to prove to client with a documentation from Adobe showing that we need categorize these 3 cookies as Performance cookies*Note: We are using the Visitor ID opt-in service API Thanks in Advance.

Hello all. Logged in/off Status QuestioneVar expires at hit, so it doesn't matter the allocation (first, linear, last) and has to be set on each hit page load or web action. Wondering of the implications to set either logged off or logged on every hit, comparing e.g. not having the value even present or populated in the data layer prior login, whats best for segmenting and overall usage? I'm trying to visualize how it would be:Visitor arrives to site, set to 'logged off' default status in the data layer when landing on the page.Visitor authenticates, value changes to 'logged in'Visitor x's out and comes back after 40 mins or the next day, will it be set to logged in or off?Would devs read the ECID and automatically log the user in and keep the value for an arbitrary amount of time?How does the authentication status remains or changes? User Membership Level QuestioneVar expires at visit, most recent allocation, values: gold, silver, bronze.As of now on the first page

We have click rule which has a event click with a css selector as anchor tag. Rule is pretty small without any conditions. Custom code in the set Variable action is pretty small. I'm just fetching some of the data attribute in action and mapping it to eVars. We see beacons are getting cancelled for the rule , does anyone have any idea ?Even though server call getting cancelled with 307 as status. We see partially data being captured in Adobe Analytics. Has anyone faced such issue ? Note : Unfortunately I can't use time delay. 

Hi everyone, Our organization captures Adobe Analytics data across three different digital touchpoints - mobile app, website, and certain embedded webviews that users may access post-login. A typical user journey can span across these environments. I want to know if users add to their cart from a certain page.I have verified that, when they do, the event scAdd is triggered and sent in the same beacon as the Pagename.That makes me think that I should be able to use Page as a dimension and Cart Additions as a metric.Can anyone confirm?

My application is SPA in react ,in both child and parent component we have written sendAnalytics in componentDidMount. method  expected behavior - both the event should fire on page opening or page reload  current behavior - in console logs i can see both the event is getting fired but in omnibug/network tab i can see two request with the same name , its not certain sometime its working as expected , sometime it fired parent component event twice and sometime child component event twice  first two screenshot is for unexpected behavior and 3rd screenshot is for expected behavior

is it a possible option to collect data for the purpose of web analytics like "average time spent on page" even without user consent. we can consider collecting data without an ability to track back to the user. for ex: instead of collecting ECID as an identity, we can consider some other random identity and so this identity wont have an ability to track back to the user.  reason asking this question because significant amount of user browsing is without consent, which means we also lose the ability to run visitor and page level metrics. Thanks

Hi there, I have an AEP profile dataset with some million CRM records being connected to CJA. Most of profiles do not have events tied to the CRM ID, so we cannot view them in Analysis Workspace (as Adobe FAQ explains). However, the client needs to analyze all the customer records in CJA no matter they have had an event. In order to solve this, we generated one "fake event" per customer and the solution worked. The problem of this solution is that we need to ingest some million fake records monthly to analyze CRM data with a (monthly) time window, which is not recommendable from both licensing and data cleansing perspective. What would be the best fit approach to circumvent this limitation?  Thanks in advance,

I’m running into a bit of a head-scratcher in Adobe Analytics Workspace. While creating a calculated metric, I’m only able to see and use metrics there’s no visibility of dimensions, segments, or any date range options in the builder.Is this expected behavior? Or am I missing a setting or permission somewhere?I’m creating the metric via the Components > Calculated Metrics section. Ideally, I’d like to build something more dynamic using segments or contextual dimensions, but those don’t show up at all in the interface.Would love to know if:- This is a limitation of the calculated metric builder itself?- There’s a workaround or advanced setting I should be aware of?- I should instead be building this within a Freeform table context?Appreciate any insights or hacks from the community.

Hi everyone, I'm encountering an issue in Adobe Analytics and would appreciate some help. I've created four segments, and the visitor numbers for each segment are as follows: 40, 60, 30, and 70. When I combine these segments into a single segment, I expect the total number of visitors to be 200. However, the combined segment shows a different number, for example, 224 visitors. (Note: These numbers are just examples to illustrate the issue.)Why is there a discrepancy in the visitor numbers when combining segments? Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Hello Adobe Experts,I hope everyone is doing well. I would like to get your insights as to why the data that are passing to the Network Payload and adobeDataLayer console are showing 2 different results.In the screenshot in Green Box, it shows that the dealers containing 5 array results. But the one in Red Box, the array value is empty []. Do you know any possible scenarios as to why this issue is happening?Thank you in advance.  

I am seeing duplicate calls on the particular page. Whe testing my implementation.Usually, we get two server calls while testing using debugger. But, here I am seeing one more duplicate which says text/ plain as content type.Does anyone faced such issue , what could be the reason for this multiple call??
