Difference Between an Attribute Set to Persistence vs. Not Set to Persistencecan we use persistence setting  in metrics other than dimension , i hope not but is it possible in any case please confirm

I'm looking for an Adobe Analytics UTM builder (similar to the Google Analytics campaign builders) that will enable me to control naming conventions, store my UTM links built, and help me with insights. I've set up my classifications but too many people are writing links differently and it's creating a mess.Is there a proven / available UTM form that I can use to deploy proper link-building operations across my company (something better than Google's URL builder which has no naming convention controls)? We've noticed that we're only tracking about 30% of our marketing spend effectively through Adobe Analytics and this is probably the biggest reason why (too many agencies, marketers, and vendors building links for GA when it should be Adobe structure).

Hello! We're trying to get CJA setup with Marketing Channels. Currently we have Marketing Channels setup in Adobe Analytics, however, a couple of our channels are setup with the rule "is first page of visit". Updated Marketing Channels documentation has mentioned that is is not recommended to us that logic as CJA does not recognize it. (potentially not understanding that correctly). We have an extensive network of internal URLs for instance that we need a channel for in order to not inflate our direct channel traffic. Is there any suggestions on how we might get around this so that we can see all channels in CJA as well? Thanks!

Hi Team,Need some help in understanding what is the benefit of using Graph-Based stitching over Field-Based stitching for CJA?I was under the impression that with graph stitching if user have a linkage between persistent id and transient id in the graph, they don't require to login during the lookback window for stitching to work on the events recorded during that period, stitching should be able to take the persistent id and the transient id namespace and fetch the linked transient id from graph. But the documentation states that user has to authenticate withing the lookback window for both the methods. If that is the case, What is the benefit of graph based stitching over field based stitching? I'm anyway required to record the authentication during the lookback window, I can record my transient id also on the authenticated events and use field based stitching, how is graph based stitching better/different o field based stitching?Cheers!

I feel like I'm going crazy and I really hope that I'm just missing something obvious.We have are using Adobe Analytics to track activity on our employee web-based software.Our employees work in over 7000 stores around the world.We want to know what percentage of our stores are using our software each day.We have an eVar for unique Store ID (for each user).We have another eVar for total number of active stores (captured at the start of each session).We want to create a calculated metric that calculates the percentage of hotels that use our software.It doesn't matter how much usage or what the users were doing. If even a single staff member logs in, that store was active on that day.Trouble is, when I go to create this calculated metric, it doesn't let me plug in the evar for Total Stores. So instead, I've been manually updating the store count every time. This seems really bad to me. What am I missing?

Hi all, I am doing a 30 min refresher with a fresh analyst batch and would be covering on segment creation and scope.Anything else I need to cover or correct from the below brieft am preparing? I wanted to validate my understanding around segment containers (Hit, Visit, and Visitor levels) — especially when used with dimensions like eVars and props that may have different expiration settings. Here’s what I’ve gathered so far: General Understanding:Hit container: Use evars with hit level expiry or prop for getting hit level dateeg pageviewd, link clicked etc.Visit container: Use evars with visit level expiry eg visits with mobile and campaign id abc could be visit or 30 days etc.Visitor container: Includes all data for a user (across visits) if the condition was met even once. Ideal for analyzing long-term user behavior. Eg - mobile and campaign id abc and return users. Rule of Thumb I’m Following:If one of the key dimensions is at hit level, prefer using a hit

I currently have a custom list of 2000+ product detail pages that were removed from a site with multiple language variations. To answer questions about behaviors of visitors that had been to those pages (ie. changes in site search behavior or conversions), I want to create a visitor segment. I wanted to use a classification on the page dimension, but that would require multiple variations to capture all the language variations. I don't believe that regex is supported. Is there a way with classification importer to have the key match on part of the string or would it have to include each variation? Would an alternative be to create a subclassification to eliminate the language variations or is there another option?

Hello. I'm building a filter in CJA, that is for an aborted application. Meaning, has entered a process, but no receipt.I'd like to know why the following logic does not work. But this does.To clarify, the second in both of these is receipt step. When I test the first one, I get users with receipts, but not the second one. I've tried different versions of the first one, exclude etc. It seems logical, and would be much easier for people if they could build it that way. Difficult to explain to people that they have to put uniqe visitior container in an event container. 

Hi all, hope someone can help me on this.I have a conversion report, when I look at it in the time range of April only, it shows the correct conversion with the Month metric.however when I change the time range to This Year - it shows all months, but the conversion rate of April (as example) and other months are shown completely different.how can i trust this numbers to create a monthly view?

Hi All, I want to understand the impact of having multiple sites (one main domain and multiple sub domains) in a single report suite and the affect this would have on marketing channels.  Lookback window is set to 30 days, Direct and internal do not overwrite last touch channel Would it be possible that data is being overwritten if customers were to visit the sites in a different manner, for e.g. day 1 customer visits the main site via direct, then day 3 they visit a subdomain via paid search, then day 5 they visit another subdomain via direct, I've assumed due to marketing channels being set at report suite level they would overwrite, thus my main site marketing channel behaviour wouldn't be accurate? Many thanks for all the support in advance! 

Hi, In this example, product 1 is an upsell item and I only want conversion (units, revenue) associated with this item.  Is there anyway that I can apply any logic/segment to filter out the other 3 products that are part of the visit, but was not an upsell item? Thank you!

Hi folks, Wondering if anyone has found a way around filtering components with a Date schema data type in CJA? Both within the Workspace e.g. filtering the dimension's date values in a Freeform table, but also within a Segment.....when using a Date type component in a Segment it only allows me to choose a date "equals 5/30", rather than define a date range in the criteria  "greater than/less than 5/1".

Hey 🙂 Scenario is as follows: I can identify pretty easily with a segment clients that had 2 purchases in a given month. We have millions of such clients, so I cant save any ids individually in a segment. I want to see what their interaction with us was in other months. If they had 2 purchases in April, were they browsing in march? did they have campaign interaction is Feb? etc.   If I try to force a UV level segment with 2 hits split by "then" and each hit has the purchase event and the purple april date from the sidebar, then all hits filtered by that segment is always for the month of april even if I change the panel date range. Any way to make a segment that always checks the client had 2 purchases in march, that would let me see their behaviour in other months?

Hi all,I'm working on building visitor-level engagement scoring in Adobe Analytics. The goal is to assign a weighted engagement score to users based on behaviors like visits per month, orders, and pages per visit, and then segment users into groups like Top 20%, Bottom 20%, etc.I started using ECID to track unique users, but I'm seeing that a large majority of activity in our Global Report Suite is tied to “Unspecified” ECIDs, which is severely limiting our ability to score and segment users at the visitor level.Is there a way to do this kind of user-level scoring and segmentation without relying on ECID? Are there alternative persistent identifiers, dimensions, or techniques within Adobe Analytics that could help in cases where ECID is missing?Appreciate any guidance or best practices!

Hello, I am trying to create a calculated metric for a custom bounce rate. When users open a page on our website, there are often automatic hits firing, like some layers or applications in the background. Adobe Analytics would not count these visits as bounces even if the user does not perform any clicks himself. Is there a way to create a metric for a custom bounce rate, for example with a sequential segment that would say:Entry Page exists, then none of the hit (X, Y, Z) happen on the entry page, then exit / Entries.I have a list of pages I would like to have this bounce rate for, so if there is a solution where I would not need to create a unique segment / metric for each page, that would be helpful.

What would be a reason why the number of paid search click counts would be upwards of 80% different than adobe visit counts for some sites on a platform but only 20% different for other sites? is there a page load tool you recommend as part of the exploration?
