Adobe Analytics

Background: I am configuring Data Feeds for several internal stakeholders.  On the Data-feed configuration page we can select specific evars and props. However, I do not see any events that I can include in the data feed. Is this not possible? Any help is appreciated.  

Hello, I have created a segment where the previous page = XYZ, i've then dropped page name into a freeform table to show all next page visits. A few pages are appearing as the next page visited, but there's no link signposting visitors from the selected previous page. I have come across this response https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-analytics-questions/flowchart-shows-next-when-there-is-no-link-between-the-page/m-p/617304  Would it be that segments are using the same logic as flows?  Thanks

When I build a table using marketing channel, bounce rate and average time on site I can see that I have a low bounce rate but I also have low time on site, in other hand I have a High bounce rate and too much time on Average time on website. Why is this could be happening?

I have a set of generic KPIs, such as CVR (Conversion Rate) and demand, which are calculated based on metrics like purchase/visits and demand/visits. I would like to customize these metrics by applying page-specific segments, for example, calculating CVR for page "a" as purchase/page "a" visits.However, I’m encountering a problem:Solution A: When I use a generic metric (e.g., purchase/visits) and simply drop a page segment (like page "a") on top of it, the results do not come out correctly.Solution B: When I create a customized metric specifically for the page (e.g., purchase/page "a" visits), the results are accurate.Why does Solution A produce incorrect results, and what is the best practice for building metrics like these? Is it better to always create customized metrics for each page segment? 

Can someone help provide an example of a dimension that expires after hit vs a dimension that expires after visit and how that impacts traffic metrics such as pageviews, instances, occurrences, and visits? I have an understanding of these traffic metrics but curious to understand what are the changes if we look at a dimension that expires after hit vs a visit. In what cases would it make sense to set a dimension to expire after hit vs visit and vice versa? 

Hi, a few weeks ago I created a report suite and currently in the General Account Settings, I get a message that there is a pending change, and in the setting that says “Activated” it is with a “Yes” but there is a clock icon on the side. When I click on it, it takes me to the company settings, where the action description says “Activating Report Suite” and the status is “Pending”. How can I fix this situation so that the report suite is activated? 

Hi Team, Could you please help me in how to know the current Data Processing location for Adobe Analytics?I know from the below mentioned documentation that Data processing locations currently reside in the United States (Oregon), the United Kingdom (London), and Singapore. We have access issues to github from office network and we are working to upgrade Adobe SDK for apps in office network. Is there a way where we can download all XC frameworks of extensions for Android and iOS from a non-github URL? We have found few xcframeworks and are downloading from assets section of release notes. Hello, Some time ago I asked about how to calculate a CTR metric, but it is not working as the client expected.I'd like to show a calculated CTR metric to a client but I can't seem to make it work.The metric we're trying to build would be calculated considering total page views where page equals '/' as denominator, and not page views that are persisted after the Showcase Product (v9) metric is registered, which is the value considered when I'm building the calculated metric:  Is it possible to build that calculated metric considering the total page views that I outlined in red instead of the page views present in the 'Interações no Banner' table? Thank you!

I've been facing a performance issue when dealing with multiple dimensions (more than 2) on Reports API using Python (URI: analytics.adobe.io/api/xxxx/reports). I didn't find any example of this case, not even a topic in this community.When I need to get all data for multiple dimensions, firstly I need to create all combinations (like a matrix) of each ItemID from a dimension "A" with each ItemID from a dimension "B" and "C" and so on. it causes a ton of combinations and a ton of API requests, and the majority of all requests doesn't brings back any result because, for example, not all "days" had the same "product" sold. So, I wonder if someone knows a way to use multiple metricFilters for the same dimension in an unique API request.Example: { ... why is my data in Eloqua different to that in adobe analytics? The number in Eloqua seems to be more than what is suggested in Adobe Analytics. Why is it so? How do we rectify that?

Is there a way to find the unique count of an event based of first party id instead of ECID.For example: If the event is triggered every time user performs an interaction like page view. I want to see how many times have known users (based of Hashed First Party Ids) have visited the page. If i create a visitor scope segment for this it would consider all UVs based of their ECID and tell me the count based off unique visitors. However I'm wishing to get this count for each known user instead.Thanks

Hi guys, @jennifer_dungan  I know you've mentioned this before, but do we actually know why ActivityMap is not capturing Button clicks? The filter callback is called, but it does not trigger any call.Seems like a bug to me. I can likely create my own activitymap context data, but would prefer to have it fixed. Cheers

Hi all -  Looking for some help with creating a segment:  I want to create a segment that helps me know if a specific Page (e.g., offer X page) has contributed to a conversion (e.g., booking), but ONLY want to see that page (e.g., offer X page) listed in the freeform table when I add the segment in the freeform table. The offer X page does not have any CTA to contribute to the conversion, but just want to know within the visit did that contribute to conversion. The key thing I want is that when I add the Page Dimension in the table under that "created segment" I just want to see that page and if it's had any contribution. I dont want to see all the other pages in the visit.  Example: Freeform TableSegment Name (Segment)> Page (Dimension)>> Offer Page (I only want the specific page that I identified in the segment) 

I need to know the average time spend on a page for certain period of time. Right now, adobe analytics only have time spend on page - Bucketed. I can know how many times people stay on that page in each bucket. But the thing is, users really want to know the average time spend on that page. Anyone know what's the best way to get this metric?Thanks

Hello, I’m facing an issue where the number of visits recorded for some entry pages is significantly lower than expected, yet the form completion numbers are disproportionately high. This discrepancy occurs consistently across multiple days, and I’m unsure what could be causing it. I observed that specific entry pages show very low visit counts on certain dates, but the corresponding form submission numbers are much higher. I have attached anonymized screenshots of the data to illustrate the problem.  Has anyone encountered similar discrepancies between visits and form submissions in their reports?What steps would you recommend to investigate and resolve this issue? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! 

Dear Team,Adobe Analytics is reporting an 80% bounce rate for the website, but the average time on site is 3 minutes. The client is confused about whether users are engaged or not. I explained that the high bounce rate means users are spending time on the site but not interacting with it. Could you please advise on how to explain this more clearly to the client? Also, what other engagement metrics should we focus on for a health content website? It would be helpful to have some simple examples.

I have created UTM links containing the parameters utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, and utm_content. Before officially launching and publishing them, I conducted tests to ensure they are tracked correctly in Adobe Analytics Workspace. However, I can't seem to find them. In the future, I will need to understand which sources and specific content have driven traffic.What are these parameters called? What should I search for to find them? Are they considered dimensions?Thank you!

Can you help me understand the difference? There are too many codes. Please mention what is the difficulty level of each exam mentioned in the subject. eg-beginner intermediate etc. I am looking forward to go for Adobe Analytics Business practioner E212. But cant really make the difference between others. I dont want to missout on something.Please help me understand all the exams.
