I prepare implementation plan for a company with multiple business's. Assuming that every business unit would have separate sandbox then every data view in CJA should correspond to the adequate sandbox in AEP? From the business perspective I do not want to mix the data between different business units. 

Our Web analytics team has decided to disable Activity Map dimensions as personal information like email address & phone numbers are populating under Activity Map dimensions for less than 0.1% of the users. Is there a way fix this issue instead of disabling them?

Hi Experts, We have an SAP where we track all our online e-commerce purchases with Purchase ID / Transaction ID directly from the website and at the same time we track all purchases in Adobe Analytics as well with the same Purchase ID. Hello, We recently moved over to adobe analytics and we have updated all of our campaign names.  I would like to set up a rule that automatically process the old campaign under the new campaign. It should be something like this ... If UTM contains "old campaign name" then update it to display as "new campaign". Not sure exactly how to phrase it but you get the idea.  I have updated our marketing channel processing rules which was not hard ,but I cannot figure out where to update the UTM rules.  We are on the free sku of AA for the time being, hoping that this is still possible as I am learning some functionality is not available with the free version.  

What is the best practice to tag every clickable element on the page? Especially on the checkout page where there are payment options plus delivery information etc. Right now our site A triggers link call for every interaction by the customer. I dont think this is the best way. Is there any guide (example site for ecommerce) that we could refer to see how product page, cart page, check out page should be tagged? Many thanks!

What is the primary key for the hit_data object, e.g. which field or group fields do I need to use to get the primary key: a field that uniquely identifies each hit, e.g. each record of the hit_data table?Does it expire? Like the hit id is re-used after 30 days or something similiar? Should I concatenate it to some timestamp? Which one is recommended? I would propose some of the following options, but I'm not sure which one would be correct. In the case of hitid_low and hitid_high, do they work only if they are concatenated?transactionID | Adobe Analyticshitid_lowhitid_high

As part of our Target experimentation programme, I want to explore alternative ways to evaluate our tests by using our clickstream data. I want to understand the characteristics of our users when they first enter a test - device type, marketing channel, etc.  Can I use the post_tnt_action field (structured as activityID:experienceID:targettype|event ), filtering for event = 0 for hits where users are first entered into the test? I can't get the count of unique visitors to match when using this method (using post_visid_low and post_visid_low and the usual recommended excluded hit filters).

I hope I can explain this issue clearly, so I can get some feedback if it is possible.We are sending our Adobe Analytics data to a data platform. The important point here is that we have 3 servers/domains for every market that are tracked in the same Report Suite.When I build a table in Workspace, and e.g. I check visits to country X on the 1st of August - I will see 150.000 visits. If I query the same data in the data platform (from Adobe Analytics feed), I will see 170.000 visits.This is because Adobe knows that some visits are cross-platform, and counts them as 1 visit. However, using the data from the data feed, we just count unique values like this: count(distinct POST_VISID_LOW||POST_VISID_HIGH||VISIT_NUM||VISIT_START_TIME_GMT) AS Count_VISIT_IDand ofc there are cases where some visits are double-counted.Is there a way to avoid this? Maybe add some other information to the concatenated VISIT_ID? Thank you in advance,Kate

Does anyone know what the number in the upper left corner is supposed to represent?I believe at some point, there was the option to hide the "all visits" | "all visitors" number that displays in the upper left corner.https://www.bounteous.com/insights/2019/10/17/using-and-interpreting-adobe-analytics-fallout-visualization ^^^ blog post that I found that has the "hide" option within the settings of the Fallout tile.By default, when first creating a Fallout, either "All visits" | "All visitors" pre populates as the first step..... I was under the impression that this Fallout analysis feature is to build a journey that a user takes that i defined within this funnel.... why would there be two different totals that display when one is not applicable to the funnel that I define? Also - when i've duplicated panels that has a Fallout/Funnel - it copies over the same total of "all visits" used in the previous/old panel...... 

Hi, I was wondering why Visitors, Visits, and Page Views are different when you use the same dimension and just change the scope to Visitor, Visit, or Hit? I'm having trouble understanding why they change? Can someone illustrate an example? I believe @jennifer_dungan did this yesterday, 8/7/24, in the "Adobe Experience Makers The Skill Exchange for Adobe Analytics - Grow Path" session for segments. I have an example here to illustrate. I am writing down scenarios, but I don't understand when visitors would still be included on both the visitor scope and hit scope for the dimension? Here is my example:   Thanks!

Hi AllI have a quick question regarding a specific use case with a client. The client has their Adobe Analytics (AA) instance under one Org ID (ABC@AdobeOrg) and their Adobe Campaign (AC) instance under a different Org ID (XYZ@AdobeOrg). The client operates globally with support from vendors across multiple countries, including Japan, Singapore, India, Australia, the UK, and the US. Consequently, different regions use different martech tools: Australian marketers use AC along with several other tools, while other locations primarily use Salesforce.The use case involves integrating AC with AA, despite them being on different Org IDs. We have already explored this with Adobe support via a ticket, but the request to align these two instances was denied, even though documentation suggests it is possible. I understand the challenges associated with aligning these two instances as they have already in action for 4 or more years. But we do need analytics to track campaign events etc. from AC.

So I have a landing page which users can arrive on through a variety of different marketing campaigns in place. I have created separate segments for each of these campaigns, which are tracked by SCIDs.  Typically, the total traffic from each of these channels falls short of the total traffic to the landing page, and the difference I attribute to 'organic visitors' who may have typed in the URL, or saved it in their bookmarks etc. However, recently I have noticed that total traffic to the landing page is somehow lower than the aggregated traffic from each marketing campaign, and I have no idea why. For some additional info, my Landing Page 1 segment is defined at a hit level using page url, whereas the marketing channel segments are defined at the visit level, or visit with a 'hit' container. It's been a while since I made these segments, so I may have to review again why I made some of the segments at a visit level and some at a visit level with a hit container.&nbs

Hello All, What we are seeing our overall ECID coverage is close to 40%. Meaning if unique visitors are 100 only 40 them are assigned ECID value. We do have one Trust but even for United States which is default Opt-in coverage is 40%. What could be the reason? For different website the number is different for one it is 50% but for other site it is just 10%. Both the sites are using the same Launch Property.  Please help.

What does 99.9% threshold mean?  Is it 99.9% of a standard deviation and above?  I'm using the 99.9% as an example. There are other thresholds 

We are using two properties for one site what is the process or way which we use to transfer the same ECID from one property to another.

Hi folks!  I am writing because this is the first time I have seen this behaviour in one of my applications. I am using the Page variable as it comes straight from Adobe to track most visited pages and page views on each.  After speaking with some users about a particular page where I was not seeing many views, I found out that this Dimension is not tracking all URLs users are visiting. I know the easiest solution would be to create an evar with a custom Page Name, but don't have the resources for doing so momentarily. Is there any other alternative I could use for this? Thanks a lot! 

H All, Is there a reason there are no instances or occurrences for a Prop? Also, in addition to this question, is there ever a time when you only want to have a prop but no evar, an evar but no prop, or both a prop and an evar for the same thing (an example of this could be p1 and evar1 both = "Page name". Thanks!

Hi All, I have an eVar that visibly shows up in the debugger on the landing page from a paid ad. That eVar is set to persist until the end of the visit. I currently have a segment that looks at all hits for a specific tracking code in the eVar. Is the hit segment capturing all hits that persist after my landing page hit, even if the value is persisting and not visibly showing up in a debugger because it "persists" until the end of the visit in the backend? Thanks!
