Adobe Analytics

I need to analyze the behavior of a specific set of unique visitors. To do this, I need to narrow my analysis to 2,500 unique visitor IDs. My only thought is to create 5 sets of segments, using the 'Equals any of' operator with the visitor ID values, and export the data from Data Warehouse. Is there a better way to approach this (outside of using clickstream data from a data feed)?

I am capturing value of getNewRepeat in an eVar with edge network Web SDK implementation. I am getting all the instance values as either 'New' or 'Repeat' which means my implementation is correct. However, against Unique Visitor metric I see unspecified values which are also in addition to total of New and Repeat visitors.  Why is this happening?  

Hi allI am trying to fix/investigate a file generated via a Report Builder schedule which was created probably 8 or so years ago.The original owner is still in the business, but does not have the detail needed.The report uses a metric "popularity" which is a calculated metric.However, no matter where we look, we cannot find this metric - it's not in metrics manager, it's not on his or anyone else's accounts.And now, when I try and edit the report builder, it removes the metric, so I cannot make any edits without breaking the file!(I am trying to investigate an unrelated problem with the file, but won't be able to, as I can't risk breaking the original file.)Does anyone have any smart ideas on how to find this metric?

Hi there, We have Adobe Analytics connected to our Frontify site through Segment. Segment is forwarding all page calls from Frontify to Adobe and also sending the user ID with each page call. I can find the user ID as "Visitor ID" in my browser's debugging tool under "General". So, Adobe should be receiving this visitor ID. The Segment user IDs forwarded have this format: 984852fe-491a-407d-940e-77fde755efb1(string of numbers and letters seperated by "-"). However, when I download the visitor IDs from Data Warehouse, they have a different format like 1106681457720459184_7367007776702080739 (string of only numbers separated by "_"). I cannot find the IDs that match the ones I see in my browser debugging tool. Any idea why this discrepancy exists and how I can find the visitor ID I am looking for? Thank you!

Hello, I am getting this error attached in the image below when I log into one of our domains. I have tried clearing cookies & cache and trying different browsers, but still getting the same error.

Issue -Earlier we used to add multiple segments as options in a segment dropdown.But since the new changes have been made, where we can select multiple segments (as OR condition) in a segment dropdown, I am not able to add more than two segments in a dropdown.Even by pressing shift, it doesn't work. Update -Spoke with support team, there seems to be an engineering bug.everyone in my org is facing this issues.Spoke to a friend in another org, they are facing this issue too.Will keep you updated, once I have any resolution from the engineering team.If you guys are facing the same issue with segment dropdown, please do mention here in replies, so that the engineering team can work on this as a priority (based on the wider impact). Also, as a good practice, please raise a ticket with the Support team.

I'm using the flow diagram to look at the top page categories from a specific traffic source. Similarly, I have a freeform table with the same information, but the top pages from the flow diagram and table are not matching. What could be the reason?

I am trying to create a number of Marketing Channel segments that follow the classifications criteria, but the metrics (Purchases, Visits, or even Revenue) do not line up. I am seeing a handful of tracking codes still populate incorrectly, specifically Paid Search.  Appreciate any help on if 

Hi Team, I created two new report suites with future go live date(next day). I also got the confirmation that the report suit has been successfully created but i am not able to find those in my list.If i try to create a new one with same name, error says that the suite already exists.How to find the created suites? Thanks

Long time follower, first time poster 🙂 I can't see anything in the latest Analytics release notes but has there been recently an update so that visualisations modules no longer have a gap between each other and instead they 'connect' together? I've seen this on when using Graphs and Summary Changes modules mainly (key info has been redacted) It also seems that the visualisation width is wider than the dashboard. Hi Everyone,I am trying to link Adobe Analytics with SA360 per Google documentation https://support.google.com/searchads/answer/7669521?hl=en using JWT authentication method. I have the admin access in Adobe Analytics and sufficient permissions on SA360. The issue is, the link never completes. I am getting the error "Unable retrieve your Adobe report suites. Please check if the private key has expired on Adobe Analytics." when I have newly generated the public private key pair in Adobe developer console. Can anyone who has performed this integration can help if I am missing some permissions on SA360 or any other issue?TIA!

Hello, we are using a product syntax with some custom eVar. Data looks clean, but when creating segment we have trouble having the granularity we are looking for without doing an extract. For example, in my array :product1 : eVar3 = Hello, eVar4 = Worldproduct2 : eVar3 = Hi, eVar4 = Planetproduct3 : eVar3 = Hello, eVar4 = Planet if user A has :product1 : eVar3 = Hello, eVar4 = Worldproduct2 : eVar3 = Hi, eVar4 = Planet I want to target those who have "eVar3 = Hello and eVar4 = Planet", the problem is that user A will be include in my segment as it lives within the same hit. Is there a way to create a segment to identify the proper product element in these cases?  

I need some advice regarding an issue with eVars.Whenever a request form is submitted, we generate a unique alphanumeric eVar. When a second form is submitted, a new unique eVar is created.We expected that each eVar would have only one instance, but we are seeing multiple instances for each unique eVar.The problem is that for each unique eVar, we're observing more than one instance, which shouldn't be happening. Does anyone have any ideas on how to debug this?Thanks!

I'm trying to bring in the back end orders post user created a cart(scenario - B2B provision to checkout cart form their in-house system) Ref to this post - https://developer.adobe.com/analytics-apis/docs/1.4/guides/data-insertion/ I was hoping to passECID to <marketingCloudVisitorId> when my backend system places an order. In this case data stitching would happen as same ECID from the user session was passed. Unfortunately, they came back stating MCMID can't be fetched from the user UI(front end session cookie) for some reasons As an alternate my backend team willing to pass the cartID from the same user session.But my question here is if cartId to <visitorId> field, HOW can we make adobe consider/stitch this API inserted hit into a session matching cartId? Hi There!I'm using the getPercentPageViewed plug-in. I'm writing the value to a prop.The values for any page come in as 100, 99, 98 and so on. We have a lot of long-scrolling pages on our site.I'm hoping to build a calculated metric, specifically get the AVG percent viewed for each page on my site. I've been trying to build a metric by using the MEAN function and then dropping in the prop. It says that I need to add a metric, but not quite sure what that means.Any guidance on how to do this? Thank you!Curtis

Hello! What do you think the best approach to this business problem is?  At the beginning of the year, we started collecting customer IDs within Adobe in a custom evar. We now have a PowerBi dashboard that receives a daily export from Adobe with all the customer IDs that visited the website within a day. The dashboard then ingests in-store customer purchase data and matches back customers who purchased in-store to customers who visited the website within 7 days.  I want to take those matched customer IDs and put the data back into Adobe so I can analyze the website behavior of customers who shopped in-store. I know I could do a custom segment, but that's pretty manual. I'm hoping to export out of PowerBI for each fiscal week and upload those IDs back into Adobe to create a segment of some sort. What would be the best approach here?  I eventually need to be able to answer questions like:1. What marketing channel converts the most amount of people to instore

I need to prepare demo with cross channel analytics use-case for FI. Preparing dummy data in python for every channel and journey sounds like hell. Then it needs to be in XDM Schema format and then uploaded into AEP.  How would you approach such a task?

Hi Team,   We have implemented scOpen as Unique event ID record type so that it records for only once.   We have one context_data mapped to this : So want to ask if we need to do some additional configuration for MApp also to have unique scOpens or configuration in Admin section would be  sufficient and applicable for both mweb and mapp?   Any help in this regard will be really helpful.

I know this question has been asked in the past, but is it possible to enforce federated accounts only and disallow Adobe accounts?Meaning, can this be achieved through a setting in the console or from support side? Cheers
