Report Builder Invalid Company Logon

I'm unable to open Report Builder in my Excel files using my usual company logo.  I'm able to access the web app just fine with the same credentials. I have uninstalled the old report builder, and reinstalled the latest but still receive the same error. Any ideas on what's going on at this point? See error attached.

unfortunately when this happened to me I had to uninstall/reinstall report builder. But that did fix the problem.

it also made excel faster (at least to startup report builder)

Just fixed it on my Mac running VMWare. The culprit was the Windows firewall. Make sure to allow RB through.

I have the same issue of the unable to find company message.  I have reinstalled 64 bit Excel and plugin several times and this does not work.  The credentials are correct. It looks like it never even tries to make a remote connection and provides the message right away.  Any other thoughts on what to try?

Hi

Please verify your access from Report and Analytics UI ,

If you can see reportbuilder download link that mean you have the access otherwise you need to contact your admin for access permissions.

Many companies use proxy servers. This may be the case for you. If so:

  1. enter your credentials as you already have
  2. check the 'Use a proxy server' box. This opens additional credentials fields.
  3. enter the User Name and Pwd you would use on your internal network. Then Sign In.

Hi There,

Thanks for reaching out to Adobe Community.

This error most commonly occurs when either the login company is improperly entered, or if there are network activity issues. Do the following:

  • Check the login company spelling to ensure that there is not a typo or an errant space.
  • Log in to Analytics with the same login company to ensure that it is correct. If you are not able to log in with those credentials, contact one of your organization's administrators to obtain the correct login company.

Please go through the below doc as well for help:

Thanks!

Hi Julie,

Did you ever get this fixed? I'm having similar issues for the last week.

I've turned off my firewall, uninstalled/ reinstalled excel, reinstalled the plugin, and the problem continues.

Any help would be great.

Thanks!

All,

Just FYI for anyone who is still experiencing login issues, we did a security update to Report Builder in early February 2015. You must be using the latest version of Report Builder to successfully log in. Advance notice to this effect was visible in the Adobe Analytics web UI for eight weeks for admin users (beginning in November 2014) and six weeks for non-admins (beginning in December 2014). Additionally, Adobe sent two emails to all users, and your account managers should have reached out to you regarding this change as well.

As @warrensander pointed out, you should be able to log in by installing Report Builder 5.0.50 or newer from within Adobe Analytics.

Thanks,

Ben
