Hi, I am able to Author Teaser Component Cta astel:<tel number>,it works fine but when i move to author it asjavascript:alert('message');,it doesn't make any href on DOM. How to achieve this using authoring only; i dont want to write custom js for this. As in LinkCheckerConfigImpl i found that tel: and javascript:, both are there in configurations.

Hi All,In order to avoid the below error, I am creating resourceresolver and session at every place(all methods) and closing it at the end of method in finally block.. Sample piece of code for creating and closing resourceresolver and session in single methodI am doing lot of operations(remove node, add/modify/delete property under the node) in 30 different methods. Hi, Anyone knows how to update the multi-field component with the dropdown menu. I need to have the field in MCP to select more than one option from the dropdown. Using SelectComponent.EnumerationSelector.class doesn't allow me to choose more than one value from the dropdown. So do we need to include the dropdown in the multiselect using MultifieldComponent.class. But by default we are getting the text field , how to update the text field with dropdown list. Anyone knows the solution, please let me know.  Thanks in advance!   Regards,Bhavani Bharanidharan

 Hi everyone, We recently upgraded from AEM 6.5 SP14 to SP21, and since the upgrade, we’ve been facing an issue where content fragment models (CFMs) aren’t retaining field values. After editing and saving the content fragment models, the values don’t seem to stick. We have a requirement to use the adobe dam dynamic assets in our application which is hosted externally.I'm checking integrating of  Micro-Frontend Asset Selector with localhost. I like to know if it possible to raise a support ticket with localhost as domain for providing with imsClientId, imsScope, and a redirectUrl for the integration.I'm new to adobe assets so please elaborate your answers. I'm working on an AEM 6.5 server that was migrated from an earlier version. Some of the steps were not strictly followed, however - I don't know the full story but I'm guessing there were actual regression problems or just no practical way to test. One example of this is when I go to Tools > General > Tagging, the root path is not what I would expect. Note the URL has a suffix pointing at the pre-migration path  -  /libs/cq/tagging/gui/content/tags.html/etc/tags.Where is this root path set?  I'd assume that the deployment is setting this, but I can't find anything that looks like it is overriding the v6.5 default of /content/cq:tags.

Hi,There is a scenario where we need to hide a particular tab from the header component. So, I just selected the tab and clicked on "hide in navigation" check box under properties and also cleared the cache for a particular page. But still that tab is visible.Any inputs on this... Thanks,Shreyas.

Hello everyone , I want to upload a excel file from author environment to asset. AssetManager is depricated in aemaacs. Documentation saying to use http api from external application not from same JVM. Hi everyone,I'm having trouble with the AEM installation. I follow the process of creating the two folders author and publish and renaming their installers. When I click normally, nothing happens, it creates the folder but it's empty. However, when I run it through the cmd, it seems to follow the installation, creates the same folder but this time with content, asks me to create a password and repeat it, then just that, it doesn't open a window as it should in the manuals, if I enter the localhost on the port it doesn't find it. Does anyone know what I can do? My Java version is 21.Thanks! =D

Hi All, I am getting errors in the build pipeline which are not actually functionality breaking the functionality on the site but are more of nuisance errors in the AEM Cloud pipeline-com.adobe.granite.clientlibs.compiler.gcc.impl.GCCLogErrorManager - apps/myProject/clientlibs/clientlib-aspot-slick.min.js:7:47: ERROR - [JSC_LANGUAGE_FEATURE] This language feature is only supported for ECMASCRIPT_2020 mode or better: Optional chaining. There are many more such places where this error gets raised up. But this is just the pipeline validation I believe.On the AEM instance the aspot slick min js is working and loading perfectly fine. Why do these errors then come up in the pipeline and how to get rid of them? BR,Nagesh

How to I bring content from Publish to Author instance (Use Cases brining user generated content) back to author instance in AEMaaCS? Replication Agent? Any best practice? 

Hi All,We are in the process of migrating from on Prem AEM 6.5 to AEMaaCS. We use AEM core component forms (we did customize them for our needs) and the form submission data is stored under /usergenerated. We would like to move usergenerated content from Publish to Author, does "Apache Sling Reverse distribution" work to get content from Publish to Author in AEMaaCS? (I have searched for this and there are posts that say its possible and other mentioning it can not be used) Or storing the user generated data outside the AEM is the only option?Would appreciate if someone could provide more details on how they solved moving content from Publish to Author or solved Form users submission storage when moving from AEM 6.5 to AEMaaCS.Thank youDinesh.

I am trying to use AWS SDK Java 2.0 for S3 file read inside AEM servlet. I am using embed-dependency concept of maven-bundle-plugin. Able to read S3 file with the below three AWS dependencies in standalone maven project. However it is throwing lot of dependency issues while using with AEM. Hello, I am trying to add metadata fields in the properties section of experience fragments on AEMaaCS. I am aware that I would have to create a metadata schema, similar how one would do for content fragments and experience fragments. However I am unable to find a way to add a metadata schema to an experience fragment on the cloud. 

Hi team,  We are preparing to roll out our Workfront to AEM Assets connector to our users soon and before we do so we want to clean up the metadata schema tabs. Is there a way to move fields from one metadata schema tab to another? We don't want to loose data that has been input manually or that was pushed from Workfront. Any recommendations? Best,E

While editing a page (under language masters), sometimes the toolbar for a component won't show all of the icons/options (red box). It seems to happen randomly for various components. I also notice it happens if I start browsing in a different tab/window and then come back to the edit screen. A quick refresh of the page will fix it, but why is it happening and can it be prevented?
