Hi all, I have a PDF file for a form with logo, images and styling. I want to be able to enter this form in AEM Adaptive Form while all the fields are looking part of the PDF file and not just fields separately. How to create an XSD that could be used as a Model while creating an AEM Adaptive Form so that while entering form in AEM Adaptive Form, the PDF appears exactly same? Is there a tutorial for a sample PDF?I need a tutorial with just two fields, two images and for learning purpose only. Appreciate all your responses. Thanks,RK.

Hi, I am facing an issue while trying to bind reference using AF core component (Adaptive Form text Input). While using the legacy component (Text Box) in Adaptive form, this is the bind refence property.On clicking on bind reference, I could see navigate through XDP structure and associate the correct field. In case of core component, I am not able to navigate and select the right XDP field to associate with text box. Why is the difference and how do we bind the fields form xdp to AF to generate PDF with data from Adaptive form?

Hi, Can we use AF core components to create AF using XDP templates. While creating AF using foundation components, I can see Form template option (to select XDP template) and then create AF where I can see the data source as well. On using AF core template and creating the AF, I don't see Form template option to associate XDP template. Is this option removed from AF core components? Thank you.

Hi, I have a Content Fragment that contains an image URL field. In my component, I need to allow authors to add multiple Content Fragments, and each fragment includes this image URL field.My question is: on the backend side of my component, how can I extend Dynamic Media functionality so that every image URL behaves like the core/wcm/components/image/v3/image component — including smart crop and image preset support?

Hello, I am looking for the documentation in which form submission using external email template is described. I've tried locally using the out of the box template from: /libs/fd/dashboard/templates/email/htmlEmailTemplate.txt and the email that I get is a plain/text not an HTML. A simple example of how the email would look like is:However, if I am using the same template in an workflow > send email step, the HTML renders and the email looks good.What are the technical differences between submit action > send email + external template and submit action > invoke workflow + send email step? Thank you,Ana 

Hello AEM Community,   I have a requirement to customize the filters that show under the admin rail under Forms. I am able to override these by creating a copy of the folder structure from /libs to /apps. But these does not seem to perform a resource merger and instead acts as an override. Is there any recommendation around how I could go about making this update without breaking the inheritance from /libs.         Thanks Narendra

Hello guys. We use adaptive form core components in our system. We would like to generate documents of records after submitting the forms. But we get DoR with empty fileds. Could anybody provide a guide how to configure xdp templates for forms with core components?

Hi Team, I have posted a similar question before, but this time its different slightly. We have managed to render DoR from adaptive form using outputService.generatePDFOutput, with merged data. The adaptive form fields are binding with XDP template fields, by associating XDP with Adaptive form (xdpRef property). The question that we have is, is there any way to render PDF with merged data form adaptive form, without XDP associated to it. We are trying to understand if there is any possibility of creating an adaptive form directly on AEM, and rendering the PDF with data, by not using XDP template at all in future (to prevent the use of designer). Is there any way to create template within forms in AEM 6.5? Please also consider the fact that, PDFs have specific templates, which are currently maintained using XDP template. Thank you.

This script is trigged on clicking a button in Adaptive form.A custom servlet is called from this script, which uses formservice.outputservice to render static PDFs along with data. The issue that we are facing is that the application is placed behind SI proxy and the request is then redirected from SI proxy server to AEM load balancer. In this case, the SI prxy server is appending url /abc/def/ to access all the pages on AEM.As a result, the AF are available on <SIProxydomain>:

Hello All, We are trying to render a PDF from XDP using output service which has a logo. We are passing ImageName in the xml data node and which should pick logo from the crx- content dam path. This is working fine in aem forms 6.5 on premise and the same is not working in aem forms on cloud. I'm creating an AEM Adaptive Core Components Form and want to trigger Adobe Analytics when user clicks on the submit button and the form gets submitted successfully. Currently, I'm trying to listen to events such as "submitSuccess", "afSubmitSuccess" "afFormSubmitSuccess". But these are not working. Can someone help me out here? I'm on AEMaaCS.

Hi, I have a requirement to dynamic populate few Adaptive form fields. The dynamic values are updated as cookie in the browser, and when the user access the form, certain fields needs to be updated based on the values in the cookie. Can I achieve this using jquery/js? I have not worked with Adaptive Forms Class: GuideBridge before, hence asking if I need to initiate GuideBridge inorder to set values in adaptive form field? any help is appreciated. Hello all, I work for a company who uses designer to build forms & I am the designer. I have a dynamic pdf form that has a qr code that has been created and is printing the user attributes incorrectly. You would think the qr code output would print correctly because the Hierarchy is in order per each field as well as the Collection List. Everything checked is within this list. To make matters even more confusing is that there is a previous file that worked & it's identical to the file that I'm working on: Collection List, Hierarchy, the value of the barcode which is (Automatic Scripting, Delimited format, Pipe, UTF-8 Char. Encoding, etc.) Everything is identical. Why is one field out of order when this barcode is printed?!? I don't know what else to do, could someone help.

Hi team, I was advised to enable a feature toggle to use some of the capabilities in Adaptive Forms. According to the documentation here: Enable Feature Toggle, the feature toggle IDs are listed in a document specific to early adopter features. However, I can't find this document.Specifically, I'm trying to enable support for Form Fragments. On the form fragment creation page, I need to enable toggles for selecting a form fragment template and selecting a form theme. I'm unsure which feature toggle IDs are required for this.If there's any documentation available that lists these toggle IDs, or if someone can point me in the right direction, I’d appreciate the help. I have a use case where I have two PDFs. 1- Static PDF  2- Dynamic PDF, generated using AEM Form Communication API (https://developer.adobe.com/experience-manager-forms-cloud-service-developer-reference/api/output-sync/).   Ask - I would like to insert static PDF pages after page 2 of Dynamic PDF(generated using communication API) using Document manipulation APIs (https://developer.adobe.com/experience-manager-forms-cloud-service-developer-reference/api/assembler-sync/#section/Introduction).   Any sample code or DDX file, if this can be done?

Hi, I created a sample AEM Forms project using archetype 54 and core components dependency. I am submitting form data to locally deployed servlet using 'Submit to Rest Endpoint' option.The form submission is failing with internal server error and I can see the exception like below in the log(I added separate logger for 'com.adobe' and 'org.sling'). I need expert input - we develop multipage court forms that on the last page have three buttons, Print, Save, and Clear. These buttons are in the footer of a master page. We have them set to Visible (Screen Only), but they show up in print. We don't want them to. Must we move them to content pages to achieve this?Thanks!

Hi, We have many security/groups created under PR and PN node, and we have added many users into those groups manually under both nodes. This is under use from many years, and also currently we are utilizing this for adding/removing people, but from past week we are facing a issue. We created a new group and checked same thing occurred. Issue description: The users are getting removed from the PN instance frequently. The created group is present but the users are getting vanished. This is creating a huge impact.But its working as expected on PR instance. So, please help regarding this. Thanks,Shreyas.  

I have and AEM Designer built form. I can add row instances.  What I need is in each row I want to include a check box and another button else where of the form. And when I click this button It will refer to checked boxes in rows and perform tasks such as delete that instance or include a new instance below etc. Do you have any idea how we can do that?
