Hello, I'm migrating from AEM 5.6.1 to AEM 6.4. I have table component in 5.6 which is said to be deprecated in AEM 6.4. Adobe says this component should not be used for creating new sites/pages. I checked the functionality of this component in AEM 6.4 and it works just fine. Could you please advise the alternative for this table component?I checked on this URL - https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/6-4/release-notes/deprecated-removed-features.html per them, "Customers are advised to use the Core Components for future projects. Existing sites do not need to be changed." Please advise where i can find a core component. If is okay to use this component in my existing website where this component is currently being used for creating new pages? Or do we have any alternative such as open source component for this table component?Also, if you share an example how this needs to be done, that would be great. Thank you.-Nilesh

I have a Content Fragment model containing date and time fields, some with a valueType of calendar/datetime, some with a valueType of time. The model represents in-person events held at specific venues. Here's an example field definition, serialized to XML. Hello! We are working on updating a few metadata properties on assets spread through a variety of folders in our DAM. Most metadata properties have been easy to address by replacing asset metadata in bulk using a CSV file; however, we're running into complications with tags. Instead of appending the new tag to these assets, the bulk metadata import replaces the existing tags with the new one. Is there a way to append metadata when using the bulk importer? We regularly use the 'append mode' when bulk editing metadata in one folder, but the assets we're working on are distributed throughout the DAM. Thank you in advance for your thoughts and advice!

Hello,I'm using AEM aa CS. I have an adaptive form that needs to submit the document of record to a SharePoint list. The submission of form data only works as expected. However, when I try to save the DoR it doesn't submit. What configurations do I need to do?What type of column needs to be set in the SharePoint list in order to save the dor? Also, how do I bind the DoR to the model?Any documentation, or examples, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,Ana

Hi, I am trying to create an servlet which will be used to upload an asset to AEM. The whole author system is behind Microsoft OIDC authentication. So, in our case, we will be using bearer token to authenticate the servlet request.  I am trying to do a http post to the OOTB assets API.https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-65/content/assets/extending/mac-api-assets#create-an-asset However, the challenge here is the authentication for the OOTB assets API. Hi,I have created one process design that generate the adaptive pdf. When I am hitting that process design REST API from postman its giving 200 response code while through postman its giving 302. Why we are getting different response code. Is there any chance will get 302 response code from postman as well?

If I have created a service say PolicyService and I should be able to call this service only once in say Component A in a webpage, and whatever value is returning or logic is being executed in PolicySevice should be rendered in all other components of the webpage? Basically service call should be happening only once when the webpage is loaded.

Using Native PDF in Guides in Cloud. I have page numbering working fine in footer.Bookmap has:   Frontmatter, renders to 5 pages   Body, renders to 10 pages   Backmatter. renders to 5 pagesI restart page numbering after Frontmatter, so on page 6. Paging in footer shows page 6 of 20, 7 of 20, etc.Last page shows page 15 of 20. Obviously, I don't want that because it looks like there are 5 pages missing. Native PDF is not resetting the total page count when the page number is reset. Is this a bug or is there something I need to do? 

In the Assets > Properties view, DITA content doesn't preview like it does for images. Should something be displaying here? And if not, it would be nice to get that preview working for DITA content.In the Assets view, when you click on a DITA file to preview it, the content doesn't scroll down even though a scrollbar is present. Only the top section of the content displays. Is that scrollbar supposed to be working?

My client is already having a few sites on AEM as a Cloud Service platform. They wish to bring in few more sites now on to the platform, but with EDS and UE features enabled along with Document Based Authoring. As obvious, their existing sites are all based on Editable Templates & Sightly Components. I plan to instrument those components for Universal Editor. But here are a few questions I have in my mind - How do the content editors author new EDS blocks/sections on those normal AEM Sites pages given that those site pages were not developed on EDS Site template and are based on parsys from drag-n-drop which UE does not recognize. Even on editing all such pages (2000+) from AEM Sites Console, Universal Editor does not open up automatically.How does the blocks created on Google Doc / Word documents map to the blocks that we will be developing on EDS client-side codebase so that once the pages are created using Document based authoring, Content Editors can edit them further

Is there any official Adobe documentation on working with a repoless setup for XWalk projects? Specifically, I want to use a single repository while managing different content sources for various feature branches. Is there any guide that explains handling multiple branches and multiple content sources effectively?

I have a checkbox in a multifield based on which i want to show/hide certain multifield items. I have tried following the instructions in  (/apps/acs-commons/touchui-widgets/showhidedialogfields/source/showhidedialogfieldstabs.js ) however i cannot get this to work. It only hides my fields on initial load of dialog but upon checking the checkbox it does not show the fields at all. Checkbox checked value is string true. Unsure of what i am doing wrong here.Node structure for checkbox (enableLinks)granite:data node for checkbox Show/hide field container properties, it contains a pathfield and select dropdown field  granite:data node for show/hide container     

when i am running  the aem up command it showing the spanwn UNKNOWN error due to which localhost:3000 is not opening up. what could be the reasons behind this error. can anyone tell me how to resolve it.

All,is there a way other than splitting url that one can access url in client library js alone ? I could do via models but want script to obtain it vs backend model eg http://localhost:4502/text/test2.abc.htmlsince I don’t believe I can get selectors directly within client library js passing using below option  I get the selector in htl and add a script in htl itself setting it to a variable, hoping I can get it in js or set it in a var id within data-sly-use

Hi, I have requirement where i need to serve all the existing and newly going to upload images will need to serve in WebP and AVIF. Presently it was serving with .png/.jpeg.I am using AEM as cloud and also we are using dynamic media as well. Can anyone please help me the steps  how to proceed with this requirement. Can you please provide the solution for this. I am unable to find the steps/solution for this. Thanks,
