Hello Everyone, We got mail from Adobe saying there will be some upcoming technical changes on UI test execution from Adobe side so we need to do some changes to our current UI testing configuration. We need to apply those changes before 01-Sep-2024.If not applied, UI test execution / deployment pipelines may start failing after the changes are applied on Adobe side. Those changes are mentioned here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/implementing/using-cloud-manager/test-results/functional-testing/ui-testing#cypress-specific-detailsA sample implementation involves setting the HTTP_PROXY and NODE_EXTRA_CA_CERTS environment variables when the container starts. We have added suggested script in cypress run.sh file but we are not sure what should be actual values for HTTP_PROXY and NODE_EXTRA_CA_CERTS environment variables. Do we need to set these values or Adobe will set them? How to test these changes in Localhost

How to update the tags in component when tags are moved in aem  content/cq:tags/a to  content/cq:tags/b ,considering component has couple of tag fields and it has to be updated ? These component references are not stored I checked all the ways but no luck! Please share me the solution if anyone has it?

Hi Team, I currently have a custom container component structured as follows:The container component includes a parsys or responsiveGrid inside it.When the team adds the container component to a page, the node structure looks like this: ../container/content—this is expected.Additionally, the team can add components to the parsys or responsiveGrid (content) by clicking the + symbol—this is also expected. However, sometimes components are accidentally dragged and dropped directly into the container node (e.g., ../container/text). These components then become invisible to authors.Could you guide me on how to use cq:dropTargets to restrict components from being added directly to the ../container node? Thanks in AdvanceVeera

Hi team,we have created a page using a template. In this template we have a checkbox which when checked should set the value to true and when unchecked the value will be false.The required functionality is working only in PRODUCTION environment but it is not working in DEV, QA ang STAGING environments.Can anyone please let me know, whether the issue is with environment configuration or  in the code.Thanks in advance.karthik

Hi Folks,       I have a requirement to add one more field in panel container section in tab component, like in below snap after Title name(Tab1) of each container I need to add one icon field pararally so that in tab it have to show icon with title name. Hello Community - I am trying to obtain the resource from the existing resource path using Sling model (Not servlet). I am able to get the properties (buttonlabel) values for the component path.I need some additional properties from the jcr:content of the given path. We haven't configured our Native PDF output beyond the toggle to turn on the TOC page and the checkbox to make the PDF accessible. We are using the Basic layout files that come out of the box.We're finding that the TOC page is duplicating the toc-level-1 and level-2 entry (see attached image). For some reason, the AEM Adaptive Form Editor isn't working, even with a fresh local install of the AEM Cloud SDK and the Forms Add On. This used to work fine, and now when you create a form and it tries to load the form editor, the page just shows the spinning loading animation, and the web console shows the following error:Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'https://adobeid-na1.services.adobe.com/ims/check/v6/token?jslVersion=v2-v0.31.0-2-g1e8a8a8' from origin 'http://localhost:4502' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. We've also noticed all of our cloud environments that have AEM Forms enabled in Cloud Manager now are all also exhibiting this same behavior as of a couple of weeks ago. Hi all,New to using workfront with AEM - We are using the native intergration to connect the 2 products and I can see my AEM DAM when browsing in Workfront but if I try and pull anything from it into workfront or try and push something to it from workfront I get a permissions error. Any idea what permission this might be reffering too?Any help would be appreciated.Kindest Regards,Reece

I have been working on a custom AEM component that includes a title, image and a richtext field. I have been able to get the components to work using the OTB features except I can not get the RichText xtype to create the HTML to meet the specification I have been given by my designer. The format I need to hit is '<p class="lede"></p>'. I created a format node called p-lede and entered the tag as p class="lede", but it still only entered the standard '<p></p>' tag. Any thoughts on how I can accomplish this?

Can Google Material UI React component Library be implemented in AEM? I know there's an Archetype for AEM using React, but not sure if the Google Material UI component Library could also be used on AEM or it's not a good idea.

Hello experts,  I have created a form and dictionary entries are present for different locale(en,fr,de).After adding the form on a page with lang fr, translations are not picked up for "/apps/core/fd/components/form/text/v1/text" component on publisher or author (while using "wcmmode=disabled"). Without adding "wcmmode=disabled" to the url, all the translations work as expected.When form is refreshed with "wcmmode=disabled&afAcceptLang=fr-fr" in the URL, all the translations work well.Can you please let me know if I am doing something wrong or this is an issue/any workarounds? AEM version 6.5.17core components version 1.1.27-wcmB004 Thanks in advance!

Hello, As far as I understood, the OAuth credential set up via https://developer.adobe.com/ is currently not supported for AEMaaCS. As on the other side Adobe informs us, that applications using the Service Account (JWT) credentials will stop working after Jan 27, 2025, I just wanted to ask, when this will be possible.  Thanks in advance. RegardsLars

To store the session for longer times I have to implement a token cache which creates a serialized_cache.json file and gets the session if this is available. here is the documentation reference I am trying to implement: Custom token cache serialization (MSAL4j) - Microsoft Authentication Library for Java | Microsoft Learn What is the best way to create/store/update this file from AEM? I'd like to go from a search result to the content tree because its position in the tree (or even the asset's path!) will tell me where the related material is on a separate ol-timey file server. I just had a stunning circular conversation with Bard about this, ending with the feature I am looking for has been moved twice, and then removed altogether in recent AEM versions.I would like it to navigate to the Content Tree to browse, but I guess I'll settle for the Assets path in the repository and nav the hard way. That metadata is no longer visible in asset Properties, presuming it ever was and Bard just made it all up.
