When we insert the same conkeyref into a topic more than once, it works fine and generates a PDF (Native PDF Publishing) -- in Author view.If we try to look at the Source view, the XML Editor generates an error code of a duplicate ID and won't let us save or use the file with the same conkeyref used more than once.Occasionally we need to use the same conkeyref in a topic, for conditioned content or for something like a button image that may be used more than once.Is this a bug? We use the source/code view quite often for speed and performance reasons. AEM Guides (UUID) 4.4 On-Prem Installation (24 Jun 2024)AEM 6.5.19 (Service Pack 19) On-Prem Installation (15 Jan 2024)

Hi, Could you please let me know how to set user password with some special characters in repo init config json? I am able to set a plain text password like "test123", how ever not able to set something with "@|$!".  Also, could you please let me know if its possible to mention encoded password in the config? Example below. create user test with password {password} Best regards,Vijaya Kumar A

I was wondering if there was an option to set the specific image role you want to display on the live search popover widget? Currently it's setting the default image role as the image to be shown. I couldn't find any option in the Magento live search settings nor any documentation on whether you can pass an image role through the configuration in the code. Is it possible to specify a CA configuration as required or Not-Null or Unique.I am exploring for a use-case where I don't want my config collection which has a key-value pair properties to be blank or duplicate. I've implemented a new option for publish to preview, but I'm unable to find where to disable the option if required fields in my content fragment are not authored.Can anyone help me with the path in libs where Quick Publish and Manage Publication options are disabled if required fields are not authored, so that the same I can override. Thanks in Advance!

I am replicating the page using a custom workflow. There is no issue in replicating the page but AEM shows Published By as workflow-process-service in sites.html. I think it uses system users to replicate the pages. But I want to pass the user (who approved the workflow) in the replication API but there is no way of sending username in the replicator API.    @3214626 private Replicator replicator; ... replicator.replicate(session, ReplicationActionType.ACTIVATE, path, replicationOptions);   Is there any way to pass the username in replicator or any other API is available in AEM?

I have to migrate my project from AEM AMS to AEM Cloud. I have 4 Editable templates and 1 Experience fragment template in my AEM AMS. What is the step by step guide for the Migration. Will the Editable templates work as it is, no configuration changes needed? I don't have static templates in my project, so don't need to change to editable template. thanks

Hi, I want to create an new custom action button under tool bar in assetdetails.html. Earlier I have created for assets.html and it is working but when same way I am trying in assetdetails.html then it does not work.What I have created  I have created this custom action button, and when I hit on this button then it opened a dialog like below screenshotProblem: When I try to create same button and dialog under http://localhost:4502/assetdetails.html then it is not working Does Anyone created this type of functionality under assetdetails.html action toolbar ?

Hi all,Why should we use Dynamic Media in AEM? It does some things that DAM cant.Is it a different server with a lot of disk space? Physical server?If so, will add to the network latency?If used, will it replace DAM or it works in conjunction with DAM?Since Dynamic Media in AEM has been in use for a longtime, I would assume that it is available for AEM on Prem/AMS also. I am having an issue with updating a specific component's policy. I have updated it in code, but when I deploy the code, the changes are not there. I have a file /conf/project/settings/wcm/policies/.content.xml that includes all policies related to templates and components. Within it I have a custom component called hero-banner that I added a style called "half-height" to in code. Even if the group is added to the user using /useradmin page, group gets removed from the user during the next login. Bizarrely inconsistent behavior -- My navtitles in the map are not working. I have at least 6-7 inline navtitles, and only one is generating the title in the Native PDF Publishing output as expected. The other titles are all the topic titles. If AEM Guides was being moody, and something that worked a few weeks ago didn't work today, I'd expect that NONE of the navtitles appeared in the PDF output. But one does, and none of the others do. I also tried to insert the navtitle as part of a topicmeta element in the map and that didn't work, either. I can see no typos and nothing different between the one that does work and all the others that do not. Does anyone have any ideas? Our design team currently store design files inconsistently and in an un-centralized location. We were hoping to use Assets for storage of live design files (InDesign files). Do you store design files (i.e. InDesign files) in Assets? If so, can you explain process, downfalls, benefits?

Hi All, While doing bulk move (200-300) assets without reference adjustment or doing bulk re upload to dynamic media in AEM cloud , we are seeing below errors in logs  com.mongodb.MongoNodeIsRecoveringException: Command failed with error 91 (ShutdownInProgress): 'The server is in quiesce mode and will shut down' on server <current_primary_shard>:<port>. Any pointers why this is happening and is it safe to ignore these?
