I have added metadata to a folder on DAM by using a custom folder metadata schema. However, I am unable to retrieve the information back using the assets API. Doesn't work even with /jcr_content/metadata in the API path. Is it possible to retrieve it using Assets API at all? and how?

can I just overlay the config that I need to change or do I need to overlay the whole file? In my experience, I have to overlay the whole file BUT perhaps there's something I don't know. I just want to modify the iframesrc section. Thanks

Does anyone know why some SVGs in the AEM repository have preview images/thumbnails and some do not?It seems like if the SVG has a raster image embedded in it, it doesn't generate the preview. At other times, a specific image won't update properly or generate a preview properly, but if we wait a day and upload again, the same graphic works fine.

Hi all, I am migrating an otb "asset update workflow" which has few custom workflow process steps such as metadata modification, property renaming etc.What is the best way to migrate these custom workflow process steps to AEM Cloud such that post the processing of the assets by the microservices these process steps are executed? your opinions would be appreciated @arunpatidar, @estebanbustamante, @aanchal-sikka, @h_kataria, @rohan_garg

Hi , So I am analysing a solution for a problem statement , where we have to move the content between two cloud instances in an automated way via packages. The requirement is lets say content author team changes x number of pages in span of 3 days so find those pages , package them and move to target instance. I've been able to call the information that I need, but I'm having trouble with the DITA content running under the copyright info. Hi there, As I'm checking through the styling of my Native PDF bookmap, I'm noticing that certain items are adding space in different contexts. For example, my <steps> are space properly. However, when I insert a <note> into a <step>, extra space is added at the top and bottom of the <note>.Do I create new style entries to resolve this? How would you resolve the example above to eliminate the extra whitespace in this context? Thanks!Josh

Newbie to AEM. I have a requirement to read some attributes from the system/console/jmx page. On the JMX page we are looking for Domain org.apache.jackrabbit.oak, and from that domain, we need to read the values of some attributes like AttributeName=Statistics. how do i achieve this?. online i see many resources describing Mbeans creation and manipulation in JMX, but i dont think i need to create any Mbean, i just want to read some attributes on the JMX page. any directions would be appreciated. thank you.

I am using Okta SSO in my current project on AEM 6.3. Defined the path /siteadmin in SAML authentication handler osgi configuration. I am able to login to my application successfully but when I Signout it is navigating to AEM login screen. But it has to be Okta login url. I have configured Handle Logut and gave the url also still its not working. Please help me on this.smacdonald2008​
