The more I learn about the document-based authoring with Edge Delivery Services it looks very interesting. I am trying to find out more about how personalization could be implemented with Edge Delivery Services.

Netcentric AC Tool has been installed in a cloud instance in AEMaaCS. I was reviewing the netcentric ac tool logs and noticed there are quite some discrepancy between what it says in the logs vs. what actually happened in the installation. For example, in the netcentric logs, it says: 18:03:55.381: Authorizable test-site-author isMemberOf(repo)=[]18:03:55.381: Authorizable test-site-author isMemberOf(config)=[SiteAuthor_NonProd]18:03:55.381: Authorizable test-site-author remains member of groups []18:03:55.381: Authorizable test-site-author will be added as member of [SiteAuthor_NonProd]18:03:55.381: Authorizable test-site-author will be removed from members of [] But when I check the SiteAuthor_NonProd group, it does not have any member; when I checked the test-site-author, it also does not belong to any groups other than everyone. I have also noticed actool-service has no permission.   If AC Tool is not able to apply for this user, why would it say

Hi,  We have registered a servlet in AEMaaCS with path "/bin/cookieservlet". The servlet needs to be triggered when clickin on a button and redirect to different page. The functionality is working fine in author environment. But in publish environment we are getting Resource not found error for the /bin/cookieservlet path.  Not able to access system/console either from author or publish.   Can someone help me on this ?  Thanks in advance!

Hi All,What is a default behaviour of a sling Job in an AEMaaCS environment.Are SlingJobs a singleton for a cluster by default? or is it distributed? when I have a process intensive code, I dont want that to run on more than one publisher pods at the same time. is it the default behaviour when put this code in a sling job and trigger using job manager? how to make a job singleton/distributed?

I uninstalled LiveCycle from my windows machine and restarted it. Now when I try to start CQ6 I get this error when trying to load up any page. Even http://localhost:4502Problem accessing /. We have our website on 6.4.8 AEM instance and recently we onboarded a new react spa website on the QA author server. While this new application works well on local author server, there are few issues when we try to open the pages in edit mode on QA server. 1.The pages that usually take ~1 second to load  on our local instances (AEM cloud as well as AEM 6.4.8) is taking more than 30 seconds to load when testing on QA AEM server(v 6.4.8). Also, the page loads in less than 1 second on QA publisher.2. While fetching the *model.json for the page the GET request ends with this error and fails to fetch the required response. Hi All,We are facing issue while converting a component on a page to an experience fragment which is an OOTB feature. When we convert component on a page to an experience fragment and try to edit the experience fragment, we are unable to do that. The Experience fragment shows empty content but that experience fragment shows correct content on the page where it is used. Tried using wknd website on AEM 6.5.17 on premise instance. On investigation I found that the nodes which gets created in the XF is incorrect, the component node gets created outside the root/container node but according to the template it should be inside root/container node. Once I move the component node inside root/container node the XF is editable again.Have any one faced this issue or is there a solution. Kindly let me know.

Trying to create a list of recommended next pages using the List component and Build from Tags option.  Currently the component is including itself in the results, since that page does indeed have the selected tag along with other pages in the same directory.   Is there any easy way to prevent the page from including itself in the list?   More detail:  building a collection of case study pages.  Using tags to identify the type of case study and product category.  On the bottom of the case study page, trying to set up a teaser for other related case study pages based on the tag.  For obvious reasons, don't want the current page to be displayed in the list of recommended other stories.

Hello Everyone.  I was using AEM 6.5 for about more than 2 months. It was working fine until today.  I am not able to launch/open aem-quickstart-4502.jar like I used to open it. When I double click the jar file   ----> It should load the .jar file for about 5 to 10 seconds and then automatically open in a browser with localhost:4502. It is loading as expected and I am not able to open with my browser ( on localhost:4502 locally). I am able to open publish -> which is localhost:4503.Also, I am able to open my author Instance on 8080 where my projects are not installed. ( I have used 4502 to install all my projects) Possible reasons : 1) I have renamed my .jar file from crx-author-4502.jar to aem-author-4502.jar2) I have did some synchronization in Brackets application.  I have no idea how my localhost:4502 is not working and not opening in browser. I have a SQL2 query that returns the pages that include content matching my search terms. I'm usingjavax.jcr.query.QueryResult to get the results. I'd like to usecom.day.cq.search.result.SearchResult so I have excerpts to use. How can I convert this SQL2 query to predicates? Good day all,As of this morning our system is experiencing an issue with the default replication to one of the publishers (the other is fine). No code or configuration changes have been made in the last days that could have caused it. The status of the replication agent on the author is "blocked". When I test the connection of the agent from the author, it returns an HTTP 403 - Forbidden code. It's not a network connectivity issue. I've tested this. We use a multi-tenant architecture, where each tenant has its own path that needs to be added to the org.apache.sling.servlets.resolver.SlingServletResolver. However, it appears that the SlingServletResolver config lacks a factory setting. Consequently, whenever we add a config JSON at the project level, it tends to overwrite the existing one and retains only the last added configuration.org.apache.sling.servlets.resolver.SlingServletResolver~tenant1.cfg.jsonorg.apache.sling.servlets.resolver.SlingServletResolver~tenant2.cfg.jsonWe suspect our approach might be incorrect because the SlingServletResolver lacks support for factory config.
