I was curious if anyone has tried customizing the RTE to allow authors to highlight text and add schema.org markup for SEO purposes. We have been looking at the possibility of creating a custom plugin for the RTE based on https://www.bounteous.com/insights/2022/01/06/custom-rich-text-editor-plugins-adobe-experience-manager Has anyone else tried using the RTE for this purpose or have you done it another way? Just looking for suggestions or recommendations. We are just starting to add schema markup to the site and are starting with company addresses which are authored via the RTE and not using a specific address component. thanks in advance

Hello,I have a problem at one of my customers, who recently moved to AEM cloud from his on-premise instance.Most of the content are classic pages, with a 1 day cache, and works fine.One of the access point provides "real time" data to external services, with a cache time of 10 seconds and millions of calls per month.Billing has increased too much when switching to the cloud, and we need to figure out a solution.1) Apparently calls to the CDN and calls to the publisher (so hits that go through the cache) are billed the same way, so changing the cache duration would not change the bill, as the number of calls will not change2) Moving the interface to e.g. Adobe I/O seems not to be a solution, as apparently calls to that interface cost much more (*5), even though it would be a micro-service instead of a dispatcher answeringWhen I look at the Adobe offerings, I can't seem to find the place where I would place this service in order to reduce the bill- AEM Sites (including CDN): bill 1 traff

Hi all, I am working towards creating custom repeated panel as shown below using the AEM form core components and AEM core component blank template. We have added a simple image to the CSS of form options which adds an image of a tick mark to the box instead of just filling it in a solid color. Hi, We are migrating client website from AEM 6.5 (AMS) to AEMaaCS. As part of the migration, we noticed that existing 6.5 codebase has etc mappings defined under /etc/map like below: Do we need to make any changes to these for cloud migration and for them to work as expected.

Hello everyone, I'm currently working on setting up error pages for a React SPA app. I've been following the documentation provided at the link below:https://github.com/niekraaijmakers/aem-spa-editor-errorpages-example However, when I try to access a non-existing page, I receive a 404 HTML response. Despite this, the subsequent model.json call returns a 403, causing the SPA to render the 403 page instead of the expected 404.  Any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! update: After investigating further, I found that publish admin user were able to access these pages and received the expected 404 response. The issue might be related to anonymous users permission, but I am not sure which permission I should assign to the anonymous user for the expected 404 scenario.  

Hello, We do have the following problem: We have a bunch of colleagues who bring their own Creative Cloud licence attached to their Adobe ID. Now they need to use a workflow, which requires Asset Link. To access our AEM Assets instance, they need to use a Federated ID. Unfortunately the Asset Link plugin for InDesign does not have its own login routine, but uses the account, InDesign is connected to. As the Adobe ID as well as the Federated ID have the same E-Mail address, this setup is not working.Although it is not really comprehensible. Sometimes it shows a message, that access is not allowed, as an enterprise account is required. Sometimes the Asset Link plugin is working, but if links have to be updated, from time to time after searching and selecting the link, InDesign says that access to the file is not allowed. Is there a way to decouple the AssetLink plugin login from the Creative Cloud application?Thanks in advance. RegardsLars

Is it possible to add specific/default tags automatically to assets on uploading to AEM DAM. If an asset is uploaded to /content/dam/folderA, a tag named folder-a should be automatically be added to that asset and any uploads to /content/dam/folderB, the tag should be folder-b. Is there any OOTB mechanism/tools to achieve this or should I need to extend the OOTB DAM Asset Update workflow to set this automation in place? What would be the ideal solution here?

Hello Everyone, I have a scenario in which a page having content more than 50 pages of text with tables,Also the page has more than 40 versions in it, When I try to download new version (like 1.45) of the pdf by clicking the print button from the timeline, it generates a blank pdf.Also when I try to download the older versions like 1.1, a loader appears on the screen and pdf is not getting downloaded. Any suggestion are welcome. Thanks,Nirmal

I'm having differing results when running a query via the query builder and via a component building the same query, mainly on the order of the results. Setting orderby.sort = desc in the query builder gives me exactly as I would expect, in this case ordering results by publication date starting with the most recent. However, when I add the exact same predicate to a query inside a component, the xpath that gets generated is missing the "descending" at the end and thus the results are order in ascending order. The snippet that adds the orderby.sort predicate:  .set( "orderby.sort", request.getResource().getValueMap().get( "sortOrder", String.class ) );  The component in question is based largely on the Core List v4, so the possible values of the sortOrder property are "asc" and "desc", which should line up with possible values for the same predicate in the query builder. The xpath that results from the query builder is   /jcr:root/content/[si

Hi Team, We are running a cluster over AWS where we are configuring the 6.5.0 base image in form of Docker package to run over Kubernetes cluster.  Now we are looking for options to upgrade latest AEM version, 6.5.19, while we are exploring all documentations we are advised to install the updater package from CRX console in base AEM - 6.5, would like to get confirmation if there is any possibility for us to get the installer pack of 6.5.19 directly or it does work in separate packages alone like installing 6.5.0 first then followed by latest services (updater) package. Also if there is any blogs or documentation to fere docker form of installing resources, Please do share accordingly

I am trying to open the PDFs in browser instead of downloading the PDF.So far I have configured the ContentDispositionFilter with the below properties and it works perfectly fine.{ "sling.content.disposition.paths": "/content/*:application/pdf", "sling.content.disposition.all.paths": "false"}When I check the same functionality on AEM as Cloud I see the below additional headers are added and the PDF is downloaded.content-disposition:attachment; filename="Z571_MPS130_01eA.pdf"; filename*=UTF-8''Z571_MPS130_01eA.pdf Can anyone point out what am I missing here and where these additional headers are getting added? Thanks! 

Hello, Is it possible to configure AEMasaCS project to write logs directly to external ElasticSearch to monitor logs in Kibana?I know that we can download/tail logs via aio and then use beats to submit data to ES, but I was told to investigate if there is a way to send data directly. I've checked ACS Commons and saw a SyslogAppender feature that is not compatible with AEMasaCS, and I believe the entire ch.qos.logback package is marked as Deprecated with a "This internal logback API is not supported by AEM as a Cloud Service." message. So, I'm wondering if this is even a valid approach. Also, I'm not sure how much performance overhead it will cost us to send logs via network.

Can the system provide a “recently downloaded” section for all user types so the end user can easily reference what they recently downloaded? Are System Administrators and Power Users able to review and reference recent downloads for individual users, as well as review which users downloaded which asset? 

I'd love to establish an easy visual for our end users to know which brands specific assets can be used for. Some assets can be used for all brands and other only specific ones. We don't have teams dedicated specifically to those specific brands so governance of this becomes challenging. If we could incorporate a visual into the image preview showing the end user which brands can use the specific assets that would be exceptionally helpful. And if we could tie that specific graphic to a custom field that would be even better. For example if we tag the field called "Brand" with "Brand A" then the Brand A logo appears in the space shown. See attached screenshot of what I'd love to be able to accomplish. You'll notice the small brand icons towards the bottom of the image preview card. If it can't be done with custom icons it would even be helpful if we could add color specific icons like many other DAMs have. Does anyone know of a way to establish anything remotely similar to this in AEM?
