Hi Community, des AEM allow you to download directories (folders) that are empty?Example: you have directory A, where folders A1, A2, A3 and A4 are stored. Content (assets) are only in folders A2 and A3 - A1 and A4 are empty. I would like to get folders A1-A4 during a download and not just A2 and A3.Is this possible, if so, how? THX for input Frank

Hi Team Currently we restrict to internet or public repository only use private repository. we are not able to build the build the ui-frontend module because. frontend-maven-plugin required install node and npm which restricted. Hi Team, The project I'm working on, there have been lots of discussions to move the AEM 6.5 datastore into a S3 bucket but not for the typical AWS S3, they want to migrate it on Cloudian. Since there is not an oficial connector from AEM to Cloudian. I'd like to hear from your experience guys if someone has done such migrations using a different technology that's not fully documented from the oficial Adobe documentation. I have created a custom experience fragment template type and using that template type have created an experience fragment template also. Both of this template refers to a node which has a dialog to add the certain JS & CSS in the XF. This node has a property- checked whose value is true by default but despite of that, files are not loading. When i go to the page properties and simply do the save & close, it gets loaded. When checked in the crx/de, i found that in the master.html node, the property is not getting generated itself. The requirement is to load the property by default when the property is checked without manually saving it. I need the solution for the same without using the sling model.

Recently we updated to AEM6.5.20 corresponding AEM OSGI Forms ,But when we creating Adaptive form using Blank template Form is not created getting Console errors . Hi team,  We are currently testing the capabilities of AEM Assets and we have been able to find videos that walk us through how to upload new versions of assets in AEM Assets. We have been unable to find any that help us fully understand how the naming convention of the new asset needs to be the same as the existing asset in AEM Assets to be added as a new version. I've recently uploaded a new asset with the same name as the existing asset into AEM Assets and it uploaded as a new separate asset in the system. Is there a reason why this would happen? Would metadata have anything to do with it? Has anyone else had this experience or know of any documentation that covers the naming convention and versioning relationship in depth?  Best,E

AEM as a cloud service 6.5I'm looking at directions to disable asset download based on user groups permissions.There are two download buttons in the assets console- one in the top rail when you select an asset- another as an icon on the asset card I can think of overlaying the node to define custom behaviour1) Can you please point me to the node which needs to be overlayed ?2) How do we toggle this behaviour for different user groups. I'd like to set just one group to have download restriction and the rest of the groups can download. Any sample code, references will be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance

Hello all,I have a requirement to upload assets on AEMaaCS publish instance via dispatcher and cdn url ,that can be images pdf of certain sizes on publisher via a form (not AEM form) exposed to the public. This then syncs the data keyed in to a 3rd party data store , this also includes persisting of the uploaded files to the 3rd party data store.questions I have are while I can implement a simple form post exposed to public, without saving data into AEM 1. is there a best practice to implement the upload files functionality on published url with and without scanning? Does it need to be restricted in terms of file size . 2. Does it need to be stored in a temp location or can I post it to a third party data store directly . 3. Any other gotchas

Is there any unique identifier available which we can use while fetching Content Fragments content? I know AEM has jcr:UUID as a unique identifier for all content but I can't access it in the Graphql query.

Hello AEM Assets Community. We'd like to review and tag incoming photographic assets in Lightroom and then seamlessly transfer them to our AEM Essentials DAM. Does anyone have experience with doing so and connecting the LR export feature directly to AEM? Thank you!

Hi Team, We are following MSM structure for our global sites & while using OOTB tease inherit feature in image option we are facing this scenario. We only rollout the selective pages to other country sites based on BU requirement, so all the subpages will not be available in country sites, due to this the inherit image option will fail in country sites, since it cant find the respective page authored in link field on teaser component in the respective country site. The image will not load & we have to manually author the images in country site pages. So when it comes to multiple sites the manual effort is increasing.We would like to understand, is there any idle way to manage this scenario, either via customising OOTB teaser component, or custom rollout configs or any other suggestions?  Thank you.

We very recently migrated from an Assets Managed Services platform to Assets in Cloud Services.  My understanding is that now with CS, when any metadata fields are created or modified that the change needs to be deployed via Pipeline deployment.  If they are just created or modified in the Metadata Tool and just "applied" (such as in MS), that change could be over-written if a future pipeline deployment is done with other schema changes as the pipeline would have no record of the previous change.  Please correct me if I am mistaken on that. What about custom folder metadata schemas, the same?   Thank you, Jim P

Hello Adobe Community. We've recently imported all of our photo assets into our Essentials DAM, within a taxonomy folder structure. Is there any guidance available on tagging versus keywords? It's a much more time-consuming process to tag an image within a multi-level taxonomy than adding keywords. It seems that both tags, smart tags, and key words are all utilized in an asset search. How are others in the community differentiating between the two and are there any caveats for using one more than the other?

Hi,  I was wondering if someone could provide some insight please. We use Adobe Experience Manager and looking to create individual error pages for each campaign. The idea would be if the campaign page was to error there would be a CTA link back to the individual campaign.E.G. Campaign 1 was to error - the CTA on the error page would go back to Campaign 1 homeHowever, after creating individual error pages and inputting the new error page into campaign 1 it is still using the error from the original/root error page (a higher up page) Is there a way around this? 🙂 Thanks

I have added custom emulators, gridless, included emulators in the template, and added responsiveness settings on template.But when I try to resize the grid, only the default desktop option is working in authoring as expected.The custom mobile and tablet options are not working.I want the responsiveness to reflect in author mode in both mobile and tablet breakpoints, similar to the default desktop breakpoint.
