For the better understanding of OSGi and Sling Model, I was working on this tutorial Adobe Experience Manager Help | Creating a HTML Template Language and Sling Model DOM parser component At the Deploy the bundle to AEM section, I have a problem install Jsoup.On the note, If  I get error message at JSoup, I need to remove version from Manufest file so I did.However, I still have problem install the JsoupI have jsoup in pom.xml file as its dependencyAlso I could see the jar file under Maven DependenciesDoes anybody know what I make mistake ?Thanks!Ryu

Hey all, I am having rough time with permissions and move within AEM right now.I have the requirement that a editor without delete and publish rights should still be able to sort/reorder the pages (in list view via the dnd-handles).I was looking and apparently this is considered a move operation. Move operation has been removed though as it requires delete and unpublish permissions.Are you aware of any other way to reorder pages / providing editors with the capabilities without the need of allowing them to delete / publish/unpublish pages? I am wondering why this is considered a move as I am just changing the order of the nodes of the parent's page. There is no need to adjust any references thus I don't see why deletion and subsequentionally also unpublish rights are required

For loogers if we want specific folder your logs should appear ,we create config in Logger logging config For logger  under log folder Is project folder is created by default once we deploy project or even project folder also we need create manually through factory looking logger config?

Hi Team,I am creating a workflow model to publish pages based on approval of certian groups.So, used participant step to provide the user group. But I want two user group in the particiant step what will be the best practise? Add both user group into another user group [usergroup1 + usergroup2 = newusergroup] and use the newusergroup to paricipant step?Or, Create a custom participant step?Any suggestion with some sample links or workaround will be highly appreciable. Thanks @kautuk_sahni  @arunpatidar @lukasz-m 

Hi team, We could not see the tab title for cq dialogs if we have only one tab in AEM as a Cloud Service. This is not the issue in on prem instances. Anyone faced this issue ? PFA attached vanilla embed component.

In The assets management of AEM 6.5 on premise, when I am in List view of assets, I am not able to reorder the columns(i.e., title, locale, tags etc. ) of data for each asset. Is it possible to reorder them? Edit: Sorry, my question wasn't framed correctly earlier.

Is it true that content in Assets like PDFs are not indexed in AEMaaCS?  I can see the tika is being used and pdf's are not filtered out in the ootb config.Why is the content not being searched?  Are we required to use a 3rd party search tool like Elastic/Solr for this functionality?

I need AEM 6.5 service pack 6.5.9 since I am getting errors while installing service pack 6.5.8. I installed the service pack 6.5.8 but the bundles status shows it as Installed instead of Active. So if anyone provides me the service pack 6.5.9 it would help me.  

Hi, I followed the below article and able to create a custom namespace for asset metadata and able to add the properties and save it https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/cloud-service/developing/advanced/custom-namespaces.html?lang=en The custom namespace created is "gmkt" and the property created is ./jcr:content/metadata/gmkt:customerid The issue which I am facing is when we open the asset properties after save, the authored values are not showing and the fields are blank. In CRX, the new property is stored as gmkt%3Acustomerid instead of gmkt:customerid. Is this causing the issue or how to resolve this? Thanks,Selva

In AEM 6.3, using Asset "Share Link" functionality, renditions are shared by default and then user could select "Allow download of original file" to include original asset in shared link? So, the default behavior is that renditions are always included and original asset is optional to be included. We have a requirement to make renditions share as optional by enabling a checkbox "Allow download of renditions". If this checkbox is selected, then only renditions are shared. If "Allow download of original file" is selected, then only original asset is shared and if both checkboxes are selected, then both original asset and renditions needs to be shared. Figured out a way to update the dialog by overlaying "/libs/dam/gui/content/assets/adhocassetsharedialog". Hey guys, I have a requirement wherein the site is undergoing restructuring - old pages are being deactivated/deleted & new pages coming up.For old pages which might have been bookmarked we need to redirect them to the homepage.The site has 1000+ pages and maintaining an change might not be an option. Is manually doing Apache redirects the best way?Or should we consider sling mappings? @aanchal-sikka, @arunpatidar, @estebanbustamante, @imran__khan  Thanks in advance

Hi , I'm facing one issue in my environment , I have created one page and it have more than 5 versions and comments are also there for that page , now in the Timeline I'm not able to see the versions of the page , but I can able see the comments.and in the jcr properties,mix:lockable is there , is this issue was occuring by this ..?else can you please provide me any solution regarding this

We are on AEM 6.5.5 and after updating to SP 16, the form submissions are failing with HTTP 400 Malformed request error. After some troubleshooting, I notice that the error happens only when submission action includes sending an email. We are not using the Forms add-on package as of now. Could you please advise if this is a known issue of SP 16 and if there is a fix or workaround for this.

While applying for the assets developer professional exam I saw the code to be AD0-E129. But when searching on internet I found AD0-E100 with the same name and in no where I could find any same questions for AD0-E129. Which is the right exam? Hello Everyone, Wanted to check, whether anyone used SCD(Sling Content Distribution) feature in multiple publisher environments? What are pros and cons of using the SCD? In my case, from one of the publish environment, I need to pass the access token to remaining publish environments. Obviously, I need to go for reverse replication. So, wanted to know prod n cons of using SCD in such situation. Thanks
