Hi All, With the new Cloud SDK apache POI JAR gets shipped along with SDK and while running my test case i am getting this error .java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError Could not initialize class org.apache.poi.xssf.usermodel.XSSFWorkbook Earlier i had imported the JAR from the dependency.How to fix these issues. How we can fix this .Any inputs are highly appreciated. Thanks

I want to create a dropdown in an AEM component dialog with grouped options. For example, Theropods containing three items and Sauropods containing three items. I tried using granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/select/optgroup, but it didn’t work. Is this poiible  in an AEM component dialog? Example  Dialog Dialog output

Hi All,One of my clients wants to install AEM65 on Azure cloud they own. I would like to know the best way to install AEM on Azure. Please note that I need only AEM assets and not sites. I want to know the deployment architecture, security consideration and design of the solution. We are going to have 4 environments namely DEV,STG,UAT and PRD. I have given a solution already which seems not so accurate as it is not utilizing the Azure features like shared blob storage etc. Can someone please suggest the most optimal way to solution this problem. Note : The client is not ready to use AEMCaaS and standalone servers. Thanks.

I know apps and libs are immutable. I know I can write in /content and /conf. But I'm unsure what other folders can be written into during deployment.Thanks!

Hello Team, In AEM as Cloud service, if logged in users(content-writer/editor) crosses a schedule users, then Cloud will provide multiple author instance?I know about publish instance. I'm using AEMasCloud, I have a specific group for authors(xyz-authors) where I have added workflow users to its group, Now, for its members, when they select a page I want to hide Manage publication option from sites console, also, hide Request publication and Request unpublication options from Page information tab. I have tried the below code. "set ACL for xyz-author \n deny crx:replicate on /content/xyz \nend","set ACL for xyz-author \n deny jcr:read on /libs/wcm/core/content/sites/jcr:content/actions/selection/managepublication \nend"It is not working.  

A conceptual question I’d like to clarify about Edge Delivery Services: When EDS delivers a page, is there any AEM instance directly serving that content, or is it always the edge network? I ask because I’m trying to understand if it’s possible to have a hybrid approach, mixing AEM page properties with EDS delivery. For example:In classic AEM Sites, you could override /libs/core/wcm/components/page/v1/page to add page-level properties (title, metadata, etc.).With EDS, there’s also /libs/core/franklin/components/page/v1/page.The question is:Can we actually override or extend these properties so they appear in the live EDS site?Or are these purely for preview inside AEM Author, and not part of what the EDS runtime ever serves?Would love to hear from anyone who has tried customizing page-level data or mixing JCR properties with EDS delivery.

TLDR: I need to store a value in AEM author. I need to be able to change the value and then published that value as well. Hi Folks, I am working on EDS Universal Editor. After adding custom blocks in github repo noticing the error on AEM cloud author, non of the pages are editable. Getting error in all 3 json files which were updated  URL of those json are trying to load throwing 404 on author resource/component-filters.jsonresource/component-definition.jsonresource/component-models.json Error : Cors fetchDefinitions SyntaxError: Unexpected token '<', "<!DOCTYPE "... is not valid JSON Error thrown in cors.js file catch (e) {return console.log("Cors fetchDefinitions", e),null} I am new to Adobe EDS. Any help is highly appreciated.  Thanks,Pradeep

i have added a component inside an other component using data-sly-resource: <sly data-sly-resource="${breadcrumbPath @ resourceType='my-project/components/content/header/topicmenu', selectors='nav'}"></sly> i dont want the above component added using data-sly-resource to be authored by the user. FYI: same component has been added in the main component html twice. one has to be authored (which is working fine as expected), other one should be restricted from authoring.

Hi All, I see some issues with Repoinit. I'm using the script below to apply permissions to all the child nodes under /content/experience-fragments/global-branding. The permissions are being applied only to the folder and not to the XFs (cq:Page). Specifically, only the read permission is being applied, not the modify permission. I have even deleted the service user and reinstalled the packages, but no luck.Has anyone encountered a similar issue? HTTP ERROR: 503Problem accessing /. Reason: AuthenticationSupport service missing. Cannot authenticate request.I am getting 503 Authentication handler missing.The issue was in running server, jpa log file wasn't rotating and it took around 650 GB and aem repository get corrupted. The configuration is not upgraded itsAEM 6.4, Java 8 and oak-run-1.8.2 on Premise. I have seen some previous question which were giving good revision by running java -Xmx6000m -jar oak-run-*.jar check crx-quickstart/repository/segmentstore/but in my case I get the output which is added in screenshot. It is like a deadlock for me I have tried a lot of things but nothing seems working Can some one guide me to get last good revision so that I can run recover or compact activity

As I understand this will be available only for my environment.Is it possible somehow to share my custom plugin and make public? We're using AEM (AMS) and have been able to export experience fragments from AEM to Adobe Target. They show under Offers inside Adobe Target. However they don't show up correctly when we try to replace them in an activity in Target. Also the HTML for the fragment shows the message "cannot serve request to "fragment" on the server".
