Hi,According to Adobe's official Dispatcher security checklist (Configuring Dispatcher ) anonymous user should not be able to write data to the node. I would like to know what are the security implications of this behavior and how could this be exploited by attackers and or cause harm to the affected aem instance.Would appreciate your input on this!Thanks!

Hi,We are using Asset Share Commons 2.2.2 version and extracting facet count to display alongside filters(Ex: Digital(100), Stationary(150)) on the page. We have added custom predicates and made changes by overriding PagePredicateImpl(com.adobe.aem.commons.assetshare.components.predicates.impl) and QueryBuilderResultsImpl(com.adobe.aem.commons.assetshare.search.results.impl.results) to extract the count.  Since asset volume is huge(>50k), we are unable to get the facet count and get an error on the page which says Service Outage: Looks like we are having some issues with our service. We are working hard to bring it online again with the entire page empty. We have lucene indexes defined under(/oak:index/damAssetLucene-8-custom-10/indexRules/dam:Asset/properties). Also tried the same using query debugger tool ,it shows Running search but with no results . We are able to extract the facet count  and the debugger tool also displays results if the dam asset

Hi,I want to know the description of files and folders in crxde lite i.e. working of every folder in crxde lite .Kindly suggest some links or help me for this details because I follow most of the links of AEM but mostly links donot describe all the folders and files.Thanks in advance

I need to activate page on scheduled point of time using workflows.For that I have added one process step where are adding absoluteTime and in participant step ,I have selected Timeout as Immediate and Timeout Handler as AbsoluteTimeAutoAdvancer.But page is activating immediately.Please help me in this.ThanksKiran

Our team is currently exploring solutions to audit pdf's in our environment. The main file activities we would like to be able to audit and view are read, edit, and email related activities. Would Adobe Experience Manager or any other Adobe products accomplish this for us?

Hello Fellows, two issues with admin permission set for a specific user. 1)I have an admin that is receiving notifications when i create an asset contribution folder in aem assets.  This admin is not in my Department (meaning she shouldn't have admin access to our assets in our folder, nor receive notifications that i created an asset contribution folder.  We need to remedy specific admins to access specific folders as she as well has her assets that i should not have ability to administer. what woudl be a logical fix that is easy to administer? 2)This same admin as well appears on our Brand Portals user list although she is not assigned the product and should never use it.  Brand Portals is where we are publishing the asset contribution folderl, in which we invite Brand Portals users to upload assets and share back to our prod instance for collaboration.  How do i make sure this admin DOES NOT get url access to this space as she is not enli

Is there a way we can add the below updates to the search filter form in AEM assets admin rail search form  . I don't think this is available OOTB but has anyone come across this and if yes, have you handled this on AEM author  :-Search for all assets that 'DO NOT' have a specific metadata property value or Search for all assets where a specific metadata property is 'BLANK'Looks like a major customization to search form   ?  

Hello!First a little background. I am serving up a Scene7 asset that is made up of two layers, a base image and a play button. The base image layer is a smart crop whose width and height are being constrained by the image preset (1200 x 500). This image preset is also handling the layering of the base layer and the play button.Here is the code that I am using to manage the layering, cropping, etc.:&layer=0&fit=crop&layer=1&scale=1&src=URL/play-button-shadow&originN=0,0This works fine for placing the play button in the center of the background image. The issue is that, because the asset is being scaled to fit the image preset, the size of the play button changes with every image. So my question ... is it possible to have one layer of an image preset scale independently from the other layer? If so, how would I do this? Thanks!!

Hello, I saved a smart collection with about 10 files. I can see the files when I filter by saved searches. But when I try to access the files through the Collections section, the collection is empty and the following text is displayed: "There are no assets to display. Add assets from Assets Console to this collection." And when I try to share the collection link, no assets show up and there is text that says "There is no content to display" Any insight on what is causing this?

Hi All,My requirement is to exclude a dam folder path in workflow launcher for dam update asset workflow.i did it by following below link:How to exclude certain AEM Assets folders from generating renditions But after doing as said in above link, i can see my dam asset in "Unprocessed" state and cant be useful anymore in pages.my model of workflow is as follows.Any ideas what would be the problem and how to get rid of it.Thanks,krish.

I am trying to configure a dispatcher that will be sitting in front of two author instances (currently testing with just one instance though). Our goal is to improve the performance of the authoring environment. However, when I use this dispatcher.any file the only files that get cached are related to the login page (just 4 files). If I change the line that says /allowAuthorized "0" to a "1" instead, then I get a lot of files cached. But I'm not sure if that is safe. So I guess the question is, what are the recommended settings for the dispatcher.any file in front of

Hello All, We have created a Content Author user group from Admin Console in cloud and assigned some User profiles to that group. I can see that group in AEM test instance but not sure how to hide Page Publish and Page Unpublish options from page properties for this group. I tried disallow rep:write permission for /content/project-name path but still its showing publish options. Any ideas on how to hide this options?

Hi ALL,            I'm facing issue on getting dropdown fields for show hide functionality. The logic is  --> dropdown having three options     *no Fields    *A Fields    *A and B Fields1) when user selected "no fields" there will be no fields to show2) when user selected "A Fields" there will be two fields will present3) when user selected "A and B Fields" there will be four fields          *two more fields with additionally with A fields  please let me know any custom code to acheieve this

Hi Friends,I am implementing context hub-based personalization in some of my pages. to achieve this I am loading the below resource on my page header<sly data-sly-resource="${'contexthub' @ resourceType='granite/contexthub/components/contexthub'}"></sly> However, as soon as I am enabling context hub, page load time drastically increases leading to 10 sec. Up on investigation, i found that /etc/cloudsettings.kernel.js/libs/settings/cloudsettings/legacy/contexthub library is taking more than 6 sec and blocking DOM rendering. Is there any way we can finetune this library and reduce load page time?
