Hi all, I want to restrict movement of assets to a particular folder in DAM by a particular group.What will be the best way to do so? thanks! 

We have a filter for "bin/wcmcommad" for cmd "movePage" and "deletePage" and it is expected to perform certain operations when a Delete operation or Move operation is performed from AEM consoles. Although we observed that the filtered was active for a read-only user while loading the AEM sites console. We are trying to understand what could trigger "bin/wcmcommad" with cmd as "movePage" or "deletePage" from the sites console (except move or delete button - as these will be disabled for the read only user)

Hi all,Plan to upload assets to AEM as a CS by following 3 step as mentioned in below link. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/assets/admin/developer-reference-material-apis.html?lang=en#asset-upload After completion of asset upload need to "replicate" and process few "custom metadata" for assets. How can we proceed for incorporating both features in existing code. Regarding Sling content distribution concept around replicate is unclear how to proceed. Note: We are hitting 3step process from UI/front-end.  Any suggestions or inputs around would be really helpful. Thanks.__PRESENT

Hi, We are using AEM as Cloud Service and for one of our application we are using SAML 2.0 SP initiated authentication with IDP as PING.The login authentication is working fine but not sure how to handle logout.we have configured "handleLogout" and "logoutUrl" in SAML configuration.But it's not working as expected.how to invalidate a session in AEM after user clicks a "logout" link?please help.  "handleLogout": true,"logoutUrl": "our IDP logout url here",

Hi again community, I've been managing assets for a client for some years and for the first time had a file blacklisted from the dam and wouldn't allow users to access it. It would show in the library as an asset, but the thumbnails were absent and when you clicked on it, AEM would return a block error. I worked with my dev team and they determined that it was because a specific string/word was used in the filename. In this case it was `frames`. I asked them if they could provide a list of blacklisted strings/words/phrases and they said they didn't have one. I'm guessing it was an OOB best practice filename blacklist. Is there such a list in the AEM documentation that I'm missing? I did a search in the support section but couldn't find anything. I'm sure its there, but I probably used the wrong search terms to get the desired result. Anyone have it handy, or know if one exists?

We have received an email with the subject "[Improving Cache Strategy for Your AEM as a Cloud Service Solution]." However, I haven't made any changes to the cache rules in dispatcher\src\conf.dispatcher.d\cache\rules.any, and I have observed that images in the current Publish external environment indeed have "Cache-Control: private."Where should I begin to address this performance issue and where can I look to identify the source of the problem? Here's the email content:Background:While reviewing the logs from your Production environment, we noticed that some of the calls requesting assets are currently configured to use "private" in the Cache Control, which prevents these specific requests from being cached.Recommendation:We recommend adjusting the response_cache_control for the resources you want to cache by removing the "private" directive.Including this value in the Cache Control header prevents the specified resource from being cached.

Hi,For my project, I would like that *only* the custom form widgets we have created (in the apps folder) are displayed to authors. I don't want authors adding the OOTB textbox/dropdown etc by accident as we have customized these.I have a custom template and a custom etc/design - I thought I could do this like I would with a aem site page, by removing "group:Adaptive" from the components array on the design, but this does not remove the options from the author.Additions to my custom design are added as expected (suggesting that the design is indeed being used). Hello, I'm getting the "Failed to Delete" error when I try to delete any of my Assets. I'm signed in as an Admin with all of the correct privileges. Hi, I'm working on AIO function that handles asset processing. Business logic requires to upload new asset to AEM or update existing one and republish if it's already published. I have asset successfully uploaded but I can not find any API endpoint that would let me publish the asset. What would be the best way of doing this?I've checked the AEM Assets HTTP API and I couldn't find such an option. I've also gone over Assets developer use cases but replication doesn't appear to be covered by the documentation.

So I have a generic image component that is used by other components whenever they want to render images. I'm trying to update it to support remote images, so it has a data-sly-use.image="com.adobe.cq.wcm.core.components.models.Image", and the image's src is set to image.src so that it works with remote images. The issue that I'm dealing with is when there's more than one image in an authoring dialog.  The way I would deal with this for local images was having a different name for the fileReferenceParameter field, but I'm not sure how to get around that for remote images. For some reason, image.src references the latest uploaded image so there doesn't seem to be a way to differentiate between all the images. 

Hello, Community -- Our users have a requirement to be able to zoom in on images within AEM Assets. Is there an option to do this within AEM Assets? When clicking edit on an asset, we see the toolbar in the attached image, but it doesn't have a 'zoom' option. Any help is appreciated!

I'm using adobe version 6.5.16.0, on prem, When I send a topic for review, the reviewer can open the topic and begin making comments, using the text strikethrough feature, can highlight text, and add text. However, what if the reviewer would like to see past versions of the topic they are editing? For example, what if a topic is being sent to a reviewer because topic content has changed. It would be very useful for the reviewer to be able to see what the content looked liked in previous versions.  When sending topics for review I have reviewed documentation like is in the links below but have not found an answer. Hi community! I want to ask about setting the default style class for component. I already know that i can set the default css classes at properties-styles, for example i can set a default style class for group A, but if i have multiple groups, and i try to set a style for another group B after i added the component in the edit mode, the style for A will disappear and only the style for group B left.Seems like the default css classes and the allowed styles are exclusive.I want to extend the default class, not overwriting it. Is there any way for me to achieve that? What is the right way to set the dafault class for component? Not using the properties setting but using a css,jsfile?
