Hi all, AEM as a Cloud Service - SaaS only offers services?How to customize AEM in such a case? Could we take one specific service and customize? How? Or it is that for customizations, we should not be using ACS and must go for AMS or so? Thanks,Rama.

Hello,We want an automatic publishing to happen from author to publisher environment upon creation on content fragment/ Upload of an Assets on author environment. We do not want a separate process to initiate a workflow. Is it possible to enable this automatic publishing of the workflow for a certain path within AEM? 

The changes that are made in the author is reflected in Preview site but when published to live, they were reverted back to the old content shortly after it was pushed live. Tried clearing the cache, the same issue.. the changes are reflected but after some time itis reverted back to old content.

Hello,We are trying to create custom Layout Container(wcm/foundation/components/responsivegrid) component and allow some components to add inside it.Below are the steps:1. Created a new "Custom Layout Container" component and given it's superType assling:resourceSuperType="/libs/wcm/foundation/components/responsivegrid" 2. Added the policy in the template for this new Custom Layout Container to add components inside it.  The problem I'm facing is, after adding this new "Layout container" on a page, not able to add any other components inside it. It does not have any height (which ootb layout container has and "Drag Components here" is also not coming. Has anyone experienced this issue? Thankyou.

Hi All, For utilising the Smart Tagging option for Assets, i have created a cloud service configuration in AEM and created an Smart Content Service API in Adobe Developer Console with Adobe ID having administrator privileges. While validating the configuration in JMX console, it shows that Service version check is failed. Hi , I was playing around with experience fragments and noted that if a component even core component with a check on wcmmode.edit is done in sightly , and is included on XF, it does not pick up the mode in preview or disabled mode(view as published) within XF if the component is included within a building block. This impacts the webpage when wcmmode disabled when XF is included with a building block.  eg, I want a component to have a message if authoring mode or wcmmode is edit and in preview or disabled mode the component should not show the message on an XF and when XF is included on webpage and if the components are part of building block within the XF1.  if the component is added within the building block , the same behavior is noted and, if you check with wcmmodes.isTouchAuthoring , it works only on wcmmode disabled and NOT preview ..  Observed this behavior OOTB core components , should !wcmmode.disabled be used ?

I'm adding a feature to some longstanding, complex integration code in AEM 6.5 and discovering existing problems with invalid resource resolvers. Adding the feature is making them worse. This is some of the oldest code in our system, and has gone through several rounds of refactoring and other updates.I'm unclear about the best way to manage the resource resolver and associated objects, especially as control goes from a service to Sling models that use a resolver or session to traverse or search the JCR. I'm hoping someone can review my code and give me some advice (@joerghoh , possible to get your thoughts?) Hi,I'm using Context-Aware configurations with WCM.IO Context Aware extensions allowing me to define configs under /content node as configuration pages.Assuming a following structure: Configuration pages:/content/site/en/configuration/content/site/fr/configuration It it possible with absolute parents strategy to look for those specific configuration pages in parents node eg. from /content/site/en/home or /content/site/fr/home?Now it works for me only when configuration page is direct parent of child page eg. /content/site/en/configuration/home.

as above. I want to increase this number but only in author. Thanks for the help. Edit: - I'm having an issue with multifields. The author is entering a lot of stuff into the component.- sling.max.calls was originally set to 1000 (which I believe is system default). I've raised it to 10000 and it works fine up to a certain point. I don't want to raise it again if it can be avoided.

Hi, When I perform the undo action after making a text change it seems to remove the component from the page within the author. From the logs I can see that when I perform the undo action it removes the old node and re-adds the node and sets the property, however it doesn't set the "sling:resourceType" so it looks like the component has been removed. Has anyone else experienced this?
