Hi everyone,I'm currently working on a project where I need to set up some rewrite rules. The goal is to check if a requested page has a .html extension. If it doesn't, the request should be redirected to a 404.html page. Need Help: Adding Dialog Field to 2000+ Existing PagesI've added a new field to a component dialog used across ~2000 pages in our AEM instance.Issue:New field appears correctly on newly created pagesFor existing pages, field only appears after reopening/closing the dialogManually reauthoring 2000+ pages isn't feasible. Need efficient solution to add this property to all existing component instances without manual intervention.Looking for an out-of-the-box AEM solution or existing feature that can handle this dialog property update without extensive scripting. I have few AEM groups and it has already existed in AEM and it has their individual permissions to folders, Currently i need to validate all the permission levels for almost 20+ AEM groups any solution for this process ?I want to Validate & export all the groups with their permissions.

what configs/settings would you set in the CDN vs setting it in the dispatcher? as an example: I can set caching strategies in both dispatcher and CDN (this is for an AMS setup). But because, changing the CDN requires assistance from the AMS rep, I setup both CDN and dispatcher so that the dispatcher rules takes priority (our team can manage it). I also feel, managing similar configurations in 1 place is better than managing it in 2 places. suggestions/thoughts? Thank you.

Hello all, 1. How and where is AEM authenticated?2. Also, when authenticated, how to pass user name and password? Obviously hard coding is not an option.3. How is the session gotten with such authentication passed to other components?4. If I am writing an AEM component, how will I know that AEM was already authenticated? Hi team , I have a request to implement two different Sling sitemaps in the same page/node which will be the language page. one will be for pages and the other for assets , the content is irrelevant but I’m looking for tips more on the option to invoke or schedule two different sitemaps in the same node like:  - com.mypackage.MyCustomSitemap1.java- com.mypackage.MyCustomSitemap2.java  and invoke the sitemap like : en.sitemap.xmlen.sitemap2.xml  I tried setting it up as a different selector extending from ResourceTreeSitemapGenerator and set a selector in here , also registering in the sitemap servlet configuration but it is not working , does anybody has any advice how to configure this scenario ? Is highly appreciate it.    

If I drag a new version into AEM and select to save it as a new version then go to the timeline an dlook at the versions the original is labeled and New version 1.1 and the new version is listed as current. An end user will look at that and think that New Version 1.1 is the one they just uploaded. Can the original asset be listed as the orginal and then every new version is called new version 1.1, 1.2, etc. Current could just be an a status icon to the right of the version to show which version is the current one. Am I the only one that thinks this or is this a common complaint?

When I am installing AEM Forms add ons package, Channel Core Implementation is not getting active. It's in installed state.It is showing msm api dependency missing while I am installing AEM Forms add ons package.com.day.cq.wcm.msm.api,version=[5.9,5.11) -- Cannot be resolvedAnd when I have checked, this version of msm.api dependency is also not there on maven repository.

As part of the AEMaaCS migration from AEM 6.5 AMS, we have plans to migrate only the assets. AMS pages will consume migrated assets using Dynamic Media with OpenAPI.  1. DM with OpenAPI has TTL of 10 minutes to reflect the changes in the delivery URL - is there a way to reduce this turn around time?  2. Assets using DM with OpenAPI delivery URLs should be approved. It means assets are published. There are use cases where the asset should be published along with the pages and not way ahead. how to avoid this?     - Note: if assets are not approved, delivery URL wont be available on AMS sites to author the images. 

I am working on Adaptive form core component (version:1.1.64). I am using grid gap to set the gaps between the form fields, however the components which are set to hide in the form are still taking up spaces.How to replicate the issue: Set hide component using the author dialog:In preview mode: I found that the display: none was set to the component, but not to the component wrapper. I tried to use cq:noDecoration to remove the wrapper element, but it broke the component edit functionality on author.Is there any other way to fix this ?  

In the asset metadata schema I have added a metadata field called lockedBy. In this field I will enter userId. I want to search assets using logged in user's Id from the asset management screen filter option.  In the asset management screen I have added a filter option as LockedBy. In this field I can enter userId manually and can search assets by it.For example, If I search with the text "author" in the Locked By field then I get assets of which the metadata field "lockedBy" is set to "author".I want to make it an automatic search with current logged in userId rather than manually inputting it. How can I achieve this?   I have added the filter property predicate like this And added the metadata schema like this

Hi All, 1)I am trying to expose all components on the page in JSON format. When I use OOTB feature pageUrl.model.json, I see a lot of unnecessary data being shown, such as allowed components and other irrelevant details. I want to expose a clean JSON and have already implemented Sling Models using jackson exporter,  However, when I execute pageUrl.model.json, it doesn’t return the custom properties I've added in the Sling Model. On the other hand, when I use componentPath.model.json, it returns all the custom properties from the Sling Model.I'm trying to understand how to expose all component data as JSON via pageUrl.model.json. 2)Additionally, I attempted to create a custom Sling Model for the page component, but this doesn't provide the JSON for all the components within the page. I thought about traversing through each child node and adapting each resource to a Sling Model, but the code below always returns null. The model doesn’t re

if allow.empty is enabled BUT I have entries in allow.hosts.regexp, is my instance still limited to the hosts lin the allow.hosts.regexp list or will the instance accept any request coming from anywhere? Thanks!
