Depends on your use case -

If you are referring to assets in DAM in an AEM Sites implementation - you may use Assets insights .

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/assets/manage/assets-insights.html?lang=en

 - However, if it's an Assets implementation without assets used on AEM Sites and instead being used via other channels using the author of the asset, you can track the assets download. Download report is OOTB available in 6.5 but not available OOTB on author in AEM Cloud yet. This may be available in the cloud version in the future but nothing confirmed yet. For the cloud, it needs to be custom tracking of downloads.

- You may also want to check expired assets in case the business is making use of expired dates through ACS AEM Commons reporting/search filters etc as expired assets are auto unpublished.

What do you mean by 'unused' asset? Not downloaded ot not viewed or not published or something else?
