Hello, I had setup the AEM Assets to Brand Portal integration by creating a JWT based project in Adobe Developer console. As JWT approach has been deprecated, we need to use Oauth server to server mechanism.  I came across this KB article that suggests that the integration currently does not support Oauth - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-cloud-kcs/kbarticles/ka-22074 Has anyone tried to migrate from JWT to Oauth server to server for AEM to Brand Portal integration ?If yes, can you provide details on how you got it working and what are the steps involved ? Appreciate your help! ThanksNarendra  

How are you leveraging the expiration functions within AEM Assets and Brand Portal to support proactive update of assets? Specifically, if you're also using Workfront as your project management tool. Being able to see when assets expire and currently expired assets is great; however, it still seems like a very manual process to stay ahead of the expirations (i.e. pull a report from Assets on a certain cadence and then create projects in Workfront to make the updates of those assets).  Would love to hear your process around this.

I am trying to fetch all the variations of a content fragment in single graphql query but unable to see all the variation in the response. Instead , i can see only the master variation response in a list. This is the issue in the older version of AEM.However, in the newer version of AEM , if i try using "includeVariations:true" , i can see the desired output and its working as expected. Request your help to provide me the sample graphQL request to include multiple variations of a content fragment - Appreciate your support!

Hello -- I need assistance with getting the files/folders/files & folders selection option back in our AEMaaCS Production environment. I'm not sure how to add the needed properties under "Show" in our Assets Admin Search Rail in Production. I was able to do this in Dev in CRXDE, but we don't have access to CRXDE in Production. Any assistance is appreciated.

Hi all, I am attempting to add a dropdown field in a folder metadata schema .The goal is to include a dropdown field that is visible only in the folder properties, but not with the assets contained within. Despite this, the value selected from the dropdown in the folders should be applicable to the internal assets in the crx node. AEM Assets in Cloud Services. Is it possible to create a Metadata-only record where the asset is added at a later date?  Would like to create the record when the design project starts and add the physical asset to that record when the asset is ready. Thank you. Jim P

Our image upload process (OOTB I think) includes the creation of a few thumbnails specifically required for use on AEM screens only. But they appear as static renditions for each image, and are also options for download. I've read that the display of these can be limited by using the 'image preset listing' and 'image preset datasource ' nodes. Couple of questions 1/  Are these renditions actually needed just for AEM internal use ?If they are - it seems crazy that the default is to display them to users and to show them as download options when they have no relevance to users. 2/ Does changing the node setting also remove these renditions from being download options ?I assume not. Also presumably changing the number of static renditions displayed would include limiting any user generated image presets being displayed too.These are likely to be always needed as they are user generated. Thanks

I want to add a button on asset tool bar, when I hit custom button a pop should be appear and in pop all selected asset should be list,For example we have already a button Share link, and when we click on share link then a pop is appeared with list, see the below screenshot, Similarly I want a new custom button and in pop a list display for all selected assetThankyou  

Hi TeamI am not able sync changes of ui-frontend module either using vscode aem sync extension or mvn command. Please let me know how to sync. ui-frontend module changes to do the unit testing or debugging as part of frontend module changes.  1) Using VS Code AEM Sync, I  am able to sync changes ui-apps but not ui-frontend module changes.https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=yamato-ltd.vscode-aem-sync2) Using below mvn command able see the changes to ui-apps but not able deploy directly changes to AEM Server unless deploy ui-apps modules (first build the frontend module then deploy the ui-apps module)frontend module: mvn clean install -PautoInstallPackage  (can I use mvn clean install also because we are not able to deploy the changes to aem server)then ui-apps module :mvn clean install -PautoInstallPackageRegardsVara

Hi Team,We have been told that customer has requirement to persist between 8000+ to 15,000+ assets in each folder in AEM instance. Based on my past experience (AEM 6.1) having 1000+ assets will have performance impact on asset lazy loading + search collection update. Could you please advise the threshold on the file count going into each folder for AEM 6.5?

Hi all,I am currently exploring the potential for bulk importing assets from the Google Cloud Console to the AEM DAM. I have successfully established a connection following the documentation provided here https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/assets/assets-view/bulk-import-assets-view. My next step is to investigate whether it's possible to add a metadata field from the Google Cloud Console to the AEM DAM. Hi, we've uploaded over a 1000 assets with 7 smart crops set in the image profile. We now want to add 3 more smart crops - and apply them to all existing images. We can do this by running the 'dynamic media re-process assets' workflow. BUT.... any adjustments to smart crop setting on any of those original images are LOST when we run that workflow. Does anyone know how we can get the new smart crops available to existing assets WITHOUT losing any of the changes already made ? Thanks

In AEM DAM, we can search assets based on exact values of metadata fields, such as, title, description, and creator. For example, title:John  Same way when we search for a user-generated/custom property, with its field label in the property editor in lowercase, with spaces removed then we are getting error as shown in attachment.  Also, we are not able to search assets based on metadata fields in Brand Portal as well. (for custom and default fields both)

We use AEM Asset Videos but they appear they do not have thumbnails under Renditions in the DAM. When you look under Renditions only original MP4 is there. Also when one adds a video using the DAM browser a front end error occurs in AEM Editor because assetSelectedEvent.thumbnail is undefined. I was reading some articles here that one needs Adobe Dynamic Media https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/assets/dynamic/scene7.html?lang=en. Is that a hosted solution? we are using central dam which is connected to the sites dam, our central dam is configured with dynamic media.   we have the latest content in prod which we want to sync to stage, the architecture is the same.  How do we plan a full content sync to stage. so that the dynamic media references are not pointing to prod and connected assets dont break

Hello Community,I'm working on a project for a major newspaper in Brazil, where we've developed a simple wizard to help authors publish their articles more quickly.Everything functions well overall, but we are encountering an issue with the image upload times when using the API (initiate-upload).https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/assets/admin/developer-reference-material-apis#initiate-upload To give you a better idea, uploading images directly through the Assets is quite fast, with images being published in less than a minute.However, when we use the API, it takes significantly longer—about 5 to 7 minutes per image.This difference is puzzling and is affecting our publication process.I've detailed the API usage and payload here: image-renditions-delay.pdfHas anyone here dealt with similar issues, or does anyone have insights into what might be causing these delays?Any suggestions on how to improve our image upload times would be

Hey all! Question about images in a DAM and multi-language versions of that image's meta data. In 6.5 or Cloud, when a language copy or a live copy gets created (in the backend), does the actual image file get duplicated or is it completely a reference? I am wondering in regards to storage space as we have thousands of images that need translated meta (title...etc) data.

Hello,I am working with Dynamic Media Classic templates to create graphics. The final size of the asset is much smaller than the template I set up. I have the Canvas size set to 2720x680px. Yet the graphic it produces is only 1280x320. I have access to an AEM Assets/Sites personal sandbox through Adobe Learning Path and I'm curious whether I can do a sandbox environment of Brand Portal.  Is this possible? Hello, Can Images be displayed in a full featured “Object Viewer” that will not block screen capture? Could images will be displayed in a full featured “Object Viewer” that will include options for emailing the asset via download link?

We have a view requirements for an asset management platform. Can users add assets to collections for future use? Can these only be viewable by the individual user and saved for their profile? Can Users create multiple collections?  Does the system have the ability to automatically deactivate assets once they’ve reached their expiration date? Will the assets be moved into the Archive cloud storage only accessible by the System Administrator? Are archived assets clearly labeled as deactivated and archived? Can the System Administrator search for and reactivate archived and deactivated assets?
