Adobe Experience Manager Assets

Hi all, I'm using an AEM Assets sandbox. I created a content fragment and added it to a WKND site page. The page and the content fragment are both published. I'm looking for a list of site references associated with the content fragment, but my sidebar says there aren't any site references. I'm wondering if this is an issue with the sandbox and that the site references would show up in a regular instance. If not, where would I look to find a list of all pages that a specific content fragment is placed? Thank you!

We have developed a custom metadata schema in AEM Assets. I would like to share the AEM Assets schema with Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Bridge so that I can populate the defined schema in the asset properties and have those properties get auto updated when the asset is loaded to AEM Assets. We have some automated processes used to load assets into folders that are not manually maintained by any users. Getting the metadata created and loaded to an asset from the outset would support data standardizations. Some additional insight into this inquiry and potential product request.We have custom metadata schema fields created including "Product type" and "Customer type" fields. These are the custom fields that we would like to include on the native asset so that they are included in the full asset lifecycle. We are using the standard metadata fields like "Title" and "Description" to help support the asset understanding.Our automation is a passing of files from a product MDM tool to AEM

Hello,I am looking for some help on how to generate report for the Folder level permissions, Groups/Users and Group/User permissions. 

Hi, I'd like to know if it's possible for users to not see any top level folders in Assets, if they only have access to folders at a lower level.It means every time they logon, or go to "home", they have to navigate down the top level folders to get to the lower level folder where there are assets they can see/edit. Is it an ACE permission entry for that user group ? Thanks. PS -can that be done for Brand Portal too?If you only publish to BP a folder say 2 levels down from the top in Assets, then can BP users only see that folder 2 levels down.And not start at the top and have to navigate down to it?  

Wondering if anyone has come across this issue. To confirm in Adobe Assets CS interface this will allow me to add users that are Users or Groups listed in Admin Console Brand Portal?  

I want to add eager loading to image of first slide and lazy loading to images of other slides in the following code. Hi, My organization wants to give Asset Share Commons users the ability to filter assets through a CSV/excel file. The goal is to allow users to upload a file that contains a list of products with unique identifiers (SKU) and have the ASC search results display all assets that pertain to the listed SKUs. The idea would be similar to the Free-Form Text Filter Component, but specifically allowing users to upload a list in a file format. Does anyone have guidance/instructions on how to do this?

At local system we have multiple assets. The task was all assets upload via CSV file in aem dam. I approached the AEM Tools import assets CSV file module. But it was not working. I check the module of import csv file assets at AEM instances, unfortunately that module was not presents at AEM sdk.  I need solution for this. How to make visible of import csv assets module and aem tools import part. 

I have tried uploading several mov, avi, mpg and mpeg to DAM, I am not able to load or play any of these video format in AEM what am I missing here?

Hello dear community,I have a nut to crack that you probably have figured out already.This is the situation:If an asset gets updated with a newer version, the old file can still be found in the timeline and can be restored. Which is nice.BUT is it possible to download a previous version than the active one?I know i can restore an old version to become the active, newest version but this seems to be a strange workarround. Lets say i have a TIFF file with layers, some are misplaced. This is version 1.0.Then somebody corrects this and reduces the layers to a background layer then updates the asset - This is now version 1.1This file is now linked to a bunch of sites and also InDesign files.Then somebody else figures that additional edits have to be done with the layers from version 1.0 to have it perfect.The only way i see is, to restore 1.0, quickly download the asset, quickly restore 1.1 For a few minutes i had the wrong asset displayed on websites and the InDesign files in que

Dear Team, I've a requirement where the existing asset share common search functionality to be overridden.Instead of token based search, needs a 'startswith' search. For example: if file name is abcdef_xyz.jpeg , if the user enter abc or abcd, I should get the result. I created a servlet for the query execution and I believe logic is okay to give results.But unfortunately, my servlet logic is by-passed and after executing the servlet logic , the control goes to 'asset share commons' and a new query got created from the same string( abc / abcd) that I passed and the result of that query is available in the page.  I couldn't find how it is communicating to asset share commons. In the page I'm using 'asset share common- search-results' component to display the results. That's one clue I've with. In AEM, when the version of the asset is created the version label by default is 1.0,1.1,1.2,.... I need to modify the version label like base version label needs to be 1 and the second version label needs to be 2, the version label should be integer instead of decimal.

Hi all, Im working on Brand Portal in AEM where we have multiple marketing teams for different locations. I want to know if it is possible to have multiple AEMAssetSourcing folder for each team, so that the members can upload/download content to/from their specific assigned folders. Also we want restrictions on these AEMAssetSourcing folder so that one team can see only their folder. Looking forward for support.

I'm trying to set up a workflow where people can upload to one specific folder in Brand Portal using their mobile device. The web version of assets is pretty terrible on mobile and I don't see an app in the store. Has anyone put together a workflow involving mobile uploads?

Hello Community, I have a requirement to bulk remove custom metadata properties (single-valued) for assets including removal of custom tags for bulk assets in AEM 6.5I know that there is no OOTB means to bulk remove the properties. Can anyone suggest what is the next best approach to deal this? Thank you for your support.

Hi all,   For the input image, we are generating a CMYK Tif DM rendition. The following image presets are created for this purpose.   It's all working fine. However, DM is reducing the rendition's width and height.   Is there a way we can preserve the original width and height? Can anyone tell me whether Coated GRACoL 2006 (ISO 12647-2:2004) is responsible for size reduction?

Hi,I'm trying to create a custom dropdown field in Assets Metadata schema. This dropdown field has 5800 options as per business requirement. Im adding these 5800 options using json file. However after I add the json file, it imports only 1497 options from json. I want to know if there is any limit on the number of options in a dropdown field. If yes how can we increase it? I tried searching for any configuration with limit as parameter but not able to find. Looking for support.

Good day, I'm having an issue with placing an Animated GIF in the background of an XHTML element on my client's page. Hi all, My organization wants to give our marketing team the ability to create asset references (embed/place assets from AEM into an InDesign file).From what I understand, this can only be done through Adobe Asset Link. The marketing team uses Workfront and the Creative Suite to create marketing collateral. They push assets from Workfront into AEM through project linked folders enabled through a Workfront-AEM Connector, however they do not have AEM licenses (or at least, most of the content creators on the team don't have AEM licenses). My question is this: will my organization's current licensing allow members of the marketing team to search and embed assets through Adobe Asset Link?  Bonus Question: Is there an equivalent to Adobe Asset Link for Workfront? By this I mean a tool that allows users to easily search and browse assets by tags/metadata stored in AEM within the Workfront interface.  

I have an asset stored under this path in AEM /content/dam/myproject/images/2023/dec/4567.jpg While rendering this in UI I am using shortened name like "/2023/dec/4567.jpg"I am using rewrite rule in dispatcher to rewrite it.But when this url is cached in AEM its is cached for the this path "/content/dam/myproject/images/2023/dec/4567.jpg" under "/var/www/html".  Instead I wanted it to cache it  for the requested url structure which is "/2023/dec/4567.jpg".How this can be achieved ?
