Adobe Experience Manager Assets

Hi, when I try to delete an asset from a page that is published or (view as published). The page breaks and I get an exception. However, what i want to do is to display an error image thumbnail or something else over there(in the image component). Hi,I have some questions about using alt text in AEM. Hope they are not too abstract.1. How do I find all my alt text in AEM, like some sort of metadata file I guess?2. How do AEM process alt-text? After I fill the alt-text field, screen reader just speak it out word to word?or there is a mechanism with which AEM tries to understand my alt-text/or the image? Thanks in advance!

Hi Everyone, We have a requirement to create reports for users activity regarding AEM Assets, ex. uploaded, modified, deleted, etc.  We need to be able to do that for every AEM Author user we have. Using ACS Commons Audit Log Search ("/etc/acs-commons/audit-log-search.html") is very useful since we can search for users activity for the last year lets say but can not generate a report out of it in spreadsheet for example. Is there a ready made way in AEM 6.3 already to do that? Thank you very much! 

Hi guys, We have been creating new image transforms using the ACS class com.adobe.acs.commons.images.impl.NamedImageTransformerImpl. Very nice, you just create a new OSGI component configuration as follows: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><jcr:root xmlns:jcr="http://www.jcp.org/jcr/1.0" xmlns:sling="http://sling.apache.org/jcr/sling/1.0" name="tablet" transforms="[crop:bounds=288\,0\,2304\,959,bounded-resize:width=768&height=320,quality:quality=75,progressive:enabled=true]" jcr:primaryType="sling:OsgiConfig"/> and the transforms crop, bounded-resize, quality, and progressive are executed on the fly against the original image. Okay, great. But limited. Now I need to create a new image transformer. I can do so by implementing the interface com.adobe.acs.commons.images.ImageTransformer, but I can't get the classes NamedTransformImageServlet or NamedImageTransformImpl to pick it up. I think the ImageTransformer implementations

I have used both AEM 6.4 and 6.5 instance where i have to start workflow after replication listener. Replication listener is working while workflow is throwing exception. Need the code where the Logic for generating the "DOWNLOAD Count" in ASSET Download Report is implemented/maintained in AEM 6.5

I am setting up our Custom Metadata Schemas and would like to have the ability to filter by the values that are assigned to the new Metadata fields that I am adding.  From what I have read in the links below and others I've found online, that is done in Tools > General > Search Forms > Assets Admin Search Rail.  Search Facets Use custom search facets However, when I add the Property Predicate, I am not seeing the Custom Metadata field when clicking through the Property Name check box & navigating through the jcr:content folders.  Is there a step that I'm missing here?  Or are Custom Metadata fields not available to be used as Search Facets in Assets? Note that I'll also be looking to use this Search Facet on Brand Portal.

Create a new public collection in AEM 6.5 as admin. I got the message saying the collection is created successfully and I was able to see the collection in crx/de but the collection is not showing up in UI.

Hi,We are trying to leverage Interactive Images hotspot features in our application where have three options to choose1. Quickview2. Hyperlink3. Experience FragmentOut of the above 3, Experience Fragment does not seem to work in our QA, Stage and Production environments. The issue which we are facing is while trying to select Experience Fragment using pathbrowser, below is the js error in browser console.Were anyone able to get Experience Fragments working for image hotspot. Hi,I would like to upload 500GB of assets from my local filesystem to AEM server running in AMS. I have been asked to use CSV Asset Importer for bulk updates.But while I click on import assets, it says "Could not find any asset entries that can be processed Scroll down to see details.". I think it is because the file is in my local system. The csv has absolute path with reference to my local system. Is there a way to upload images from local system to Remote AEM server using CSV Importer ? Hi all,I've a question: I'm using scene7 with my company account, we need to use next gen images format.I've a problem with fmt=JPEG2000, the picture returned form scene7 is too big in terms of file size. The same picture with the old jpeg format take about 1/10 of the jpeg2000 file size.If I set the quality parameter to get the picture with approximately same weight (around 100KB) for pictures in jpeg and jpeg2000 formats, the one in old jpeg format is better shown then the other in jpeg2000.I'me confused, the next gen formats are been made to have pictures with better quality at less size. I'm getting ready to enable Brand Portal for our AEM 6.4.2 instance and want to confirm that the approach outlined in the article linked below is still the recommended process for integration.   Configure AEM Assets integration with Brand Portal If there is a more current process using the non-legacy Adobe I/O Console that is documented somewhere, please pass it along and I'll go that route.  Thanks!

Hi,I am trying to implement smart crops for custom built component.After adding Image profiles to an Image say Small , Medium and Large as shown in the below documentation.https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/6-4/assets/using/image-profiles.htmlI am able to access the Images using scene7 server as www.scene7serverpath.com/images/ImageName:Largewww.scene7serverpath.com/images/ImageName:Mediumwww.scene7serverpath.com/images/ImageName:SmallBut , if I have an image in scene7 but ImageProfiles are not applied to that asset/folder,  Is there a way to determine if an image has profiles setup or not using scene7 API ? so that i can do a sightly test check and have a dam fallback image instead of broken image?I can see that OOTB dynamic media component gets the fall back image by adding ?wid=val1&hei=val2 .  But how can I achieve that for custom aem component. I'm coming across a strange issue with AEM Assets in 6.4.Whether I use the Create --> Files option in the ui or drag and drop an image from the local machine into Assets I am seeing the following error:However this is for only 1 asset, if I click Ok, I'm then given:If I select Upload, it presents another dialog with a progress bar that does nothing. If I instead select Cancel it closes the dialog.Despite the above, the asset is uploaded and processed in the DAM. I see after I refresh the current page and it's renditions when I examine the file in crx/de.Like the above errors, sometimes I see this when uploading an Asset. However the asset in question is brand new and not a duplicate:I've tested the above scenarios in a vanilla 6.4 instance (no fix packs or service packs installed), in a 6.4 instance with SP3 and in one with SP4.All are behaving in the same way with the above errors.Please advise.

In our AEM 6.4.4 installation audio files (mp3) uploaded to a DAM folder cannot be selected in the asset browser (after upgrading from AEM 6.3 to 6.4).In the "Assets" dropdown we can only select the types "Images", "Videos", "Documents" etc. but not "Audio".We can however add Audio to the list of file types for documents for example ( /libs/cq/gui/content/common/options/predicates/filetypes ).But this only adds these file types to the list of "Document" types for example.The problem is that the resulting xhr request when selecting "documents" in the asset browser has a list of mime types that does not contain any mime type for audio files (e.g. audio/mpeg).In the search form "Assets Admin Search Rail" we can only add file types, but this again does not impact the list of mime types used in the xhr requests:http://localhost:4502/bin/wcm/contentfinder/asset/view.html?_dc=1562071526423&query=%22jcr%3Acontent%2Fmetadata%2Fdc%3Af… When adding the audio/mpeg mime type to the mimetypes pa

I am trying to sort column view in assets console by updating data source properties at /libs/dam/gui/content/assets/jcr:content/views/column/datasource. Two properties are added 1. sortDir = asc, sortName=title. Still its not sorting assets in asets console. Please help.
