Adobe Experience Manager Assets

I am looking to pull metadata from images in scene7. I'd like to pull the information stored in the description field in scene7 into the alt tag field in Adobe Experience Manager. In looking through some archived documentation for scene7, this is the only information I've found regarding pulling metadata for image assets:  However, I haven't found any reference to a shared secret within Scene7.Where can this shared secret be found? Or is there an alternative method that can be used to pull metadata from Scene7 images?

I have gone through the process for creating a custom Metadata Schema that is outlined below: Use the metadata schema form I am able to successfully apply & save custom metadata values within my Author - Assets area.  I have also implemented the Custom Search Facet functionality that is outlined in the following article, which I have been able to get working as expected in the Author - Assets area.  Use custom search facets I have also published the Metadata Schema and Search Facets to Brand Portal as outlined here: Publish presets, schema, and facets to Brand Portal However, when I publish an asset with a value entered into a custom metadata field to our Brand Portal, the custom metadata field & value(s) that are visible in our Author - Assets area are not showing up in the asset properties on Brand Portal.  Please see attached screenshots.  Any ideas on what needs to happen beyond what I've outlined above to get this working as expected?  Source image file 17832 not available

We are hoping to address CVE -CVE-2019-11358 in the jQuery library provided with AEM.In versions prior to 6.4, we would overlay /libs/clientlibs/granite/jquery and apply security patches based on recommendations from the jQuery team.However, starting with 6.4, the /libs/clientlibs/granite nt:folder node has the granite:InternalArea mixin applied.With that, we are no longer able to overlay jQuery and patch it ourselves per documentation here: Adobe Experience Manager Help | Sustainable Upgrades "Internal (granite:InternalArea) - Defines a node as internal. Nodes classified as internal cannot be overlaid, inherited, or used directly. These nodes are meant only for internal functionality of AEM"So we are dependent on Adobe releasing a patched version of the jQuery clientlib, with a fix for the jQuery.extend method.We are going to override the method in our own scripts to get around the issue, but we are hoping there is a CFP or Service Pack with an update to the jQuery client library.

Hi All,AEM has the OOTB email notifications that triggers based on the scheduler for the assets expired . Is there a way to setup a launcher that triggers notifications for each individual expired assets??Thanks in advance.

Hi Experts,I understand there's an OOTB workflow step in AEM Assets where a workflow can be configured to add a watermark to the asset in subject. However, I'm trying to investigate if there's a way to customize and remove the same watermark at a later step. Use case could be - A watermark is added to an asset while ingestion & the same is removed once it is approved by the reviewer at a later step of workflow. This is to quickly identify and eliminate the use of unapproved assets. I understand there are better ways to handle this, but that's just an example.Thanks.

How can we trigger a workflow, based on certain property value. For eg If we click on the asset properties and change a field value and click on save then a particular workflow should be triggered in reference to that metadata property value. Thanks in advance

How can I force a workflow to occur on all assets within a folder? There are a large number of assets that did not process (Asset Creation Workflow) and it is impractical to force a work flow one by one.

Hi Community and Staffs,I'm new to AEM6.1 and just want to seek help from here. I am building packages recently using crxde package manager and curl commands, however, I have encountered an error that does not allow me to build packages anymore. I deleted the package that I've built everytime and now I am confused that I've encountered this error. Am I doing it right? Hi All,I'm new to AEM. I need to extract/download all folders under /content/dam/ . How can I do this using AEM 6.1 ? I am little confused about the Digital Asset Manager. Is there a standalone installation of Adobe DAM or it comes packaged with AEM?If it comes as a package with AEM, then is it mandatory for the clients who use creative could to have AEM instance, if they want to make use of DAM?

Hi Team,We have started using DM classic scene7 with AEM 6.4.1 and Preview and Publish URLs wereworking fine.Recently, We started seeing "invalid lock" for the publish URLs though images are getting displayed properly with the preview URLs.Any reason why we are getting invalid lock on the browser console instead of displaying images with the publish URLs.

I have the same question as posted on Stack Overflow. cq5 - AEM DAM apect ratio crop - Stack Overflow When editing an Asset from http://localhost:4502/mnt/overlay/dam/gui/content/assets/assetedit.html There are a certain number of crop aspect ratios.  I happen to require 4:3 which is not there.How does one add a crop setting in 6.3?

Hello,We have a case where one of our workflows seems to fail occasionally. The workflow is launched on Node Created with node type nt:file and path: /content/dam(/.*/)renditions/original. One of the tasks of the workflow is to notify users that an asset has been uploaded by sending notification to their inbox. This is the steps that seems to fail due to the fact that job has been done already and they indeed have notification for that asset already. Hi Community!As you know, AEM provides 3 OOTB roles: editor, owner and viewer. Our need is to have custom user roles defined in roles selector in folder properties dialog (Permissions tab), say Creator role. I was thinking about setting a custom implementation over ootb ones, however, the roles list isn't feasible to extend due to com.day.cq.dam.cq-dam-core bundle privacy where all the definitions lie. (com.day.cq.dam.core.impl.team.DefaultRoleProvider as an example).So, having all that, what would you suggest?Thank youSergei
