Will Adobe edge delivery service replace AEM Sites?

Adobe edge delivery is a service which further enhance the AEM sites functionality.
Edge Delivery Services are part of Adobe Experience Manager and as such Edge Delivery Services and AEM sites can co-exist on the same domain.
On top of that, content from Edge Delivery Services can easily be consumed in your AEM Sites pages and conversely.
So there is nothing to replace here.
