Advanced Networking DNS

We noticed that when we have advanced networking turned on, calls to Magento fail sometimes. When we turn off advanced networking, everything is fast and always resolves, but then we turn on and we get timeouts. We are making assumptions from an outside point. Maybe they can help.

Just to let you know we do:

curl --silent --output /dev/null https://url.to.our.site/products/category-page/living-room/sectionals?test=31

When advanced network is enabled and get timeouts. Then we do the same curl command when advanced networking is disabled and everything is fine.

We think this might be a DNS issue?
