AEM users password policy changes not applying to existing users

Hi,

We are changing AEM users password policy to enable additional rules but this change only enabled for new users and not applying for existing users.

 

1. Users password history - When resting password system should not accept last used n(10) passwords as new password it should be different.

2. User account lockout - if user enter wrong password 5 times then account should be locked

 

Can you please help me with this issue ?

AEM's capability in such policies is quite limited (and I am not sure if you can lock an account that way). I recommend to use a dedicated Identity Management System if you have such requirements.
