Is there any best practices or Guidelines that needs to be followed for the Authoring Guides preparation for the websites that has been developed in AEM.?

But am looking for the Authoring-Guide, Documentation suggestions, which narrates about the website page content authoring, Editing of Felix Configuration specific to the website that has been developed.

For Example Geometrix-Outdoors website step wise creation of a new page by using templates, drag & drop components, author content for the components, etc..
