Apache reverse proxy AH00898 – Error during SSL handshake with the remote server

Hi All ,

We have faced this issue in our applications .

(20014) Internal error (specific information not available): AH01102: error reading status line from remote server localhost:8080

[proxy:error] AH00898: Error reading from remote server returned by URL

I found that the issue is related to 'Apache reverse proxy AH00898 – Error during SSL handshake with the remote server

Has anyone encountered this issue? If so, could you please suggest how to resolve it?

If this is AEM CS, it means that the AEM CS instance is not responding in time to the request, and that could have a number of reasons. The most obvious is that the AEM instance is overloaded.

You should raise a ticket, so support can look into the specifics if this situation.
