Hi 

Official document on best practices can be found at:

For component :- http://www.slideshare.net/GabrielWalt/aem-bestpractices

 

But, each core area in AEM can have many more best practices. So i would recommend you to please go through all the recordings of ATCE or let us know, any specific area you are interested in :
