Hi All,

I need a suggestion on my below questions?

1. Can the AEM website be hosted in different env like Azure cloud?

2. Can we make use of AEM existing templates outside AEM?

Thanks,

SD

1. An AEM website is a completely dependent entity (outcome) of the AEM ecosystem. To make it work it needs to be connected with the AEM setup (for authoring, content delivery etc). However, if you want to migrate the whole setup on Azure servers its surely doable

2. Like other AEM features, AEM template is also tightly coupled with the AEM web content engine. So won't be possible to use it outside of AEM.

If you can share more insight about the business you trying to achieve, probably will be able to help more..

Thanks

Yes, AEM websites can be hosted in different environments, including the Azure cloud. AEM is a flexible CMS that can be deployed in various hosting environments, both on-premises and in the cloud.

It's important to note that the specific steps and configurations may vary based on your AEM version, Azure services used, and your project's requirements. Additionally, Adobe and Azure may offer integrations and best practices to facilitate AEM deployments on Azure.

Always consult the official documentation for both Adobe Experience Manager and Azure

You cannot export AEM templates but you can host AEM itself in Azure cloud.

Also if anything required outside AEM ,you can export the content or assets outside AEM.
