Can system user impersonate the normal user

Hi,

I want to create a impersonated user session without using an admin session. I am trying to create a session using service Resource resolver. Can you let me know whether a system user has impersonation privileges or can we set up impersonation access to a system user.

P.S: AEM 6.1 - Service user mapping does not allow normal users to be setup as username for a service name. We need to explicitly create a system user for a service in service mapper.

A system user cannot impersonate a non system AEM user. You are correct in that you need to use a system user when using Sling Mapping. This is the only reason why you need a System user.
