Can we add custom columns to AEM inbox?

Hi guys,

 

Can we add custom columns to AEM Inbox: http://localhost:4502/aem/inbox ? E.g. Columns for 'Initiator', and 'Payload path', and update the 'Description' to add Jira details?

 

I've seen some questions here. This one says https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/customize-overlay-aem-6-4-inbox-screen/qaq-p/289954# not to overlay if it can be avoided. While I've seen this https://stackoverflow.com/questions/47160460/add-a-new-custom-property-to-workflow-inbox-in-aem-6-2 that looks like we could.
