Cancelling inheritance on parent component reflects on child components

On cancelling inheritance on Parent component, the child component within it also shows broken inheritance. I have the latest AEM Version. Is this an expected behavior?

This product is resolved as part of jar provided in April,2023

    I've tested on 6.5.12.0 & observed that it's not true. You can try with OOTB components and see if it is same behaviour or not.

    I've tried to add column control component and multiple components inside the column control. Cancelling inheritance on column control component didn't break the inheritance on child components.

      I am using the latest cloud version of AEM which is 2022.11 and the above issue is a product bug.
