CC 2014(!) update fails for DPS when .article export is installed?

I've noticed an update to the CC 2014 DPS tools appears in the Cretive Cloud app. However every attempt to install it fails. I have installed the DPS 2015 beta export filter for .articles, could this prevent the update?

Yes, that's very likely what's happening. The beta tools are newer than what's available in the update. Just ignore the CC update.
