Column Control Responsive design

Geometirx 's column control CSS provided is still not responsive design compatible..Justin I see you you have replied here.http://forums.adobe.com/message/4325209.
It appears own custom css need to be applied for responsive design (column component) . any comment?

In this AEM documentation topic:

Responsive Design for Web Pages @ http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/developing/mobile/responsive.html#Creating the CSS File

It includes a section on CSS titled: CREATING THE CSS FILE

You can use these CSS as a starting point and adjust them to meet your requirements. If these do not meet your needs -- then yes- create your own CSS files.

It looks like that thread is still applicable. Justin's recommendations from that thread are still valid.

My question is how can we use Out of box  column control IN AEM5.6.1 that will be compatible with response design.? Do i need to write my own custom CSS or Platform provide any CSS for column control? Geomtrixx one is not compatible with responsive design.
