I am trying to establish if AEM 6.2 is compatibly with Linux 8

No its not supported. Please find below screenshot for reference. You can download the package of older version documents as an AEM package from here https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-release-information/aem-release-updates/previous-updates/aem-previous-versions.html?lang=en

Hi @s28853 ,

As per the documentation for AEM 6.4, it is only supported on Linux 7 and not 8. AEM6.2 is pretty old and not receiving any further updates. The supported version of AEM 6.2 as far as I remember was only Linux 7. There is no more technical requirement documentation available from Adobe for 6.2. I don't think it is supported.
