Dam asset delete

Hi All,I have one doubt regarding dam asset.If I have one asset (image/pdf) in production author instance and the same asset also present on production publish instance, now If I am going to delete the asset (image/pdf) from production author instance without  deactivating it, in this case the asset will remain available on production publish instance or not.Regards,

When an already activated asset/web page is deleted from author instance, AEM first deactivates the asset/web page (results in deletion of the same from Publisher instance) and then it deletes the page from author.
